((Okay well I have a different idea that I want to try out of you don't mind))
Okay so I was thinking like an arranged marriage between friends.. Like they know each other but their parents are pushy and force them into getting married before they are ready and then we take it from there?
Name: Chelsea RaineNicknames: mostly goes by Raine to her close friends
Age: 20
Appearance: sort of tall 5' 2" long light brown wavy hair and light brown eyes
Raine stared at her parents," You cannot be serious!" She said loudly not quite yelling yet." I'm only twenty you can't just expect me to marry yet.. I don't love Nate. He's my friend and very good friend." "Chelsea." He father said," it's been decided and you will go through with it whether you want to or not."
Raine huffed and knew that right then no amount of arguing would get her anywhere
Raine knew that there would be more arguing later but she didn't wan to hear it all she wanted was peace and quiet so she didn't have to deal with all the stress her parents were putting on her. She slipped out the door and walked down the street going to the park just to be alone
Raine sat down next to him and frowned," hey Nate.." She said softly not at all like she normally was. "Awful.. Is it still running away even if you don't live with the people you are running from?" She asked then looked at him," Nate what's this?" She asked touching his cheek gently
Raine pulled her hand away seeing it hurt him," yeah I know... I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you." She said softly then leaned her head against his shoulder," I know me too... But what are we going to do?"
She put her arms around him like she always did. It wasn't a romantic gesture just a sisterly one. " I'm sorry you couldn't pick your own spouse." She said softly," but how do you go one day looking at someone who is like a sibling to you and the next you have to marry them?" She asked
Raine sighed softly and nodded," yeah I guess so." She replied quietly. " okay I'm coming." She answered getting up after he did. " maybe we don't have to go home right now.. We could go back to my apartment my parents got for me."
"Okay then." She said softly knowing that it would get worse for him if he didn't go back home soon. So she got into the car and let him drive her to her own place," I will.. Nate?" She said softly as she got out of her car
"Please be careful." She said softly as she turned to look at him. Raine smiled slightly at him," and thanks for taking me home."'she commented
Raine smiled a little bit," Okay ill see you then." She replied waving slightly before going into her apartment and laying on her couch. This was the one spot she didn't have to deal with her parents they didn have a key to her place only she and Nate had the keys
Raine looked at the time again and frowned wondering if Nate forgot about their plans. She knew he was never late to anything and if he was going to be late he would call and he didn't call her so hearing his knock she opened the door," Why are you wearing sunglasses?" She asked
"Okay then." She replied frowning a little," you know you may as well just tell me." She told him shrugging a little bit as she followed him out to his car. "It's alright."
Raine stared at him as he showed her what happened," why would your father do that to you?" She asked touching his a gently hoping that that part of his arm wasn't hurt
"I know he does but it's never been this bad." She replied looking at him with her own big brown eyes. "How much does it hurt?" She asked him slowly withdrawing her hand
Raine looked at him," really Nate you are going to tell me not to worry?" She asked staring at him," I don't care you pick." She told him
Raine followed him in and sat down then shrugged," I have no idea I didn't exactly stay long enough for them to tell me anything other than that we were getting married."
She nodded slightly," it's alright Nate it's not your idea for all of this bad I'm not mad at you either I just wish everything could be different." She said softly squeezing his hand a little.
"Umm you might want to come up with a good story for how you got those bruises on your face because you know how my mother is she's going to freak out." Raine told him softly as he drove back to her parents house
Raine nodded a little," alright fine." She replied softly as her mother looked at Nate," my goodness what happened to you?"She asked as Raine went to say hello to her parents
Chelsea stared at him for a second hating that fact that he had to lie to her parents about what really happened.. Though his parents don't know she knew what really happened. Her mother nodded," well we will need to have enough time for those bruises to heal before anything takes place."
Her mother nodded slightly." Well if you think that it will be alright by then."She replied," I think that's fine don't you Raine?"
Raine nodded a little," ohh umm yeah that sounds good to me."
Raine frowned a little agreeing with Nate," but I needed his help moving a few things around my apartment." She said knowing that if he was with her nothing could happen for a little while..Her mother frowned," I would rather if she is moving things around not to have her moving something like her tv and couch."
Raine sighed softly," ohh fine i guess I can deal with that." She replied looking at Nate and smiling just a little at his teasing," whatever I'll just wait for you... And make you do all of the work while I watch." She told him
Raine sighed a little bit as her mothe went on about what kind of dress and all of the stuff that went into planning their wedding. She was laying on the couch listening to her mother talk on and on. She hoped that Nate was alright
Raine came home a few hours later. She gasped seeing Nate laying on her couch," oh my gosh!" She said softly walking over to him
Raine frowned a shook her head," Well I don't like this at all Nate." She said softly. "Does he only do this to you?" She asked touching his cheek instead. "Ohh stop... But let me at least clean you up?" She asked
"Yeah well I don't like the look on your face right now.. What did your father do to you?" She asked keeping her hand against his cheek for a little bit. "You can't go home tonight." She told him
Raine shook her head," that awful.. And stop that you will make it worse." She told him," just let me clean you up a little please?" She asked," I know his stupid rule and I'm going to call him and make something up so you can have tonight to rest."
Raine just stared and shook her head a little," don't move.. And you need them so stop making yourself laugh for a little bit so I don't have to see that flash of pain go across your face." She told him getting up and going into the bathroom
She walked back into the kitchen and put some ice in a bowl and then filled it with cold water and put some small towels in the bowl. She walked back to her living room with a folded up towel," Lay down on this but move slowly." She told him softly
Raine watched him not caring that he was cursing in front of her when he normally tried not to. She gently touched his cheek again," Nate." She said trying to get his attention so he wasn't panicking anymore." Look at me."
Raine chewed on her lip a little," I know but you won't be able to breath unless you force yourself to calm down.. Please Nate.. Just listen to me." She told him then started softly saying in and out hoping he would be calm enough to follow her
Raine nodded a little as he continued to calm down," good now you really aren't going home.." She muttered not sure how he had gotten himself to her apartment in the first place. She reached for the bowl she had sitting next to her and wrung one small towel out," It's going to be cold." She said softly opening it up an then laying it on one side of his chest being careful not to push too hard
She frowned," I'm sorry but it will help," she said softly laying another one on his other side. "Just relax a little okay.. If you can and ill go make us dinner and you aren't going to move." She told him only glancing at his defined muscles when she knew he wasn't paying her attention
"No you stay right there.. You can make dinner for me another time." She told him cringing a little bit at his yell." I told you Nate just listen to me for tonight and then you can go back to being your stubborn self tomorrow"
Raine walked back to the living room and held out her hand for his phone," I want to ask your dad something." She said looking at him and frowning when he agreed to be home in an hour.
Raine frowned a little and took his phone into the kitchen with her," umm do you mind if Nate stays with me tonight.. I know that you want him home and I'm sorry I made him late."
"Thank you.. And I won't let him be late." She replied," I really appreciate that you are letting him stay my new neighbors kind of scare me." She admitted
"It's alright I'm sure I will get over it and thank you. He always does a good job keeping me safe.. I should let you get to dinner." Raine said softly
Raine put his phone back on the table," Ohh shut up." She told him," Get over the fact that I'm making you lay there for the night and not the next week." She told him. "So your dad doesn't know that and he also doesn't really know where I live so there's that and who cares it's going to keep you from going home at night."
She giggled softly," Ohh I won't." She replied then nodded a little bit," Okay what movie?" She asked." And the food is almost done."
She sighed a little bit as she sat down and he put his head in her lap," Well I guess I can deal with a horror movie tonight." She answered turning on Netflix," pick one you want."
She looked at the screen as the movie started," I don't know.... Maybe we can talk one of our parents into getting us a house since all of this was their idea." She replied," You are wrong and I love my little place."
"Stop making yourself laugh." She told him softly then looked down at him," what is it Nate?" She asked gently smiling just a little at him. She knew he always had admirers wherever they went
Raine watched curiously as he rolled over. She frowned slightly as she didn't want him in pain but then started to listen to his words and looked at the ring he had gotten her. For a moment she was speechless," Oh Nate you didn't have to get me a ring." She said softly," and I really don't care about that... I just wish our parents didn't have to butt into our lives."'
