When their food came Jaycee ate and made easy conversation with Kyle. She liked how easy to talk to he was. She checked her phone again and sighed. She asked for the check. "I have to go or I'll be late," she said. "But I'll see you later right?" she asked.
"I will be at practice," he said, smirking up at her. He would be watching form the other side of the aquatic arena so she didn't feel as awkward having someone watching her. "Wanna go do something after practice?" he asked, biting his lip.
Jaycee threw some cash in the bill and handed it to the waiter, covering for both her and Kyle. "Id loved to do something after," she said with a smile. She stood and kissed his cheek. "Bye, I had a lovely time," she spoke then left for practice.
Kyle blushed deeply as she kised his cheek. Did this give him permission to kiss her after she was done with practice? He smiled to himself as he wheeled to the aquatic center, thinking about how Jaycee was finally his. That kiss had been all the proof he needed.
Jaycee found her way to the locker to where she kept all of her things. After changing into her bathing suit she heard a lot of girls talking about the various boyfriends coming tonight. She smiled to herself because she finally had someone coming for her. She walked out to the pool deck and the coach told her to start her laps. She was the first person out as usual but she waited for a few others to come. When she got in and started her first lap. She soon pulled ahead of the others, thought she wasn't going nearly as fast as she could. Her strokes were graceful and she glided far more smoothly than anyone else.
Kyle smiled as Jaycee was the first one out of the locker room. She wasn't kidding when she said she was one of the best. In fact, she was by far the best. He admired how graceful her strokes were and how easily her ody glided through the water. She definitely looked extremely fit as well. He hoped she didn't mind him checking her out a little bit as she swam.
As practice continued Jaycee proved to be the best at every stroke but she never boasted or showed that she knew even though she did know. After about an hour the coach called the practice short and Jaycee came back out to Kyle in her regular clothes again. "You're in luck. Practice was short than usual today," she said to Kyle with a smile.
"You did amazing," he said, hugging her. He had never heard of practice being shortened. He kissed her cheek to show her he meant it, trying not to blush. He had never kissed a girl before. anow he had just kissed the girl of his dreams. "Where to?" he asked as they hugged. He never wanted the embrace to end although he knew it had to.
"Thanks," Jaycee smiled and hugged him back. Her face turned a slight pink when he kissed her cheek. "Mmm I don't know. I didn't plan that far ahead," she said with a small laugh. "What did you want to do?" she asked, her voice soft.
"We could go watch a movie?" he suggested. He wasn't sure what happened when people were just starting to build a relationship. He was hoping Jaycee would have some ideas. He also wanted to feel her close to him since he had no idea what that felt like except for the short time she was in his lap. "Do you have any ideas?" he asked.
"A movie is good. But I don't feel like going out. So in your dorm or mine?" Jaycee asked. "Unless you'd rather go to a theatre," she added.
"Your's," he said. He didn't feel comfortable having their first date in his room. He had no roommate, and besides there wasn't even a couch. He knew Jaycee had at least one roommate and he hoped she wouldn't interrupt their first alone time together. He let her lead the way to her dorm room.
Jaycee lead the way to her dorm room. She stuck her key in the door and quickly unlocked it. "Here we are. My side is the black and blue side, and the side without a girl dressed in all pink to match her half," Jaycee said motioning to her roommate. "For the record that's Gabby. Gabby meet Kyle," Jay smiled. She tossed her keys on her desk as the room had two, one for each occupant. Jaycee had lucked out and gotten one of the relatively large dorm rooms. Equipped with a couch and tv along with an attached bathroom that most people were jealous of. There was plenty of room between the two beds to make it feel like her own personal space. And while Jaycee's bedspread was black with light blue stripes her roommates was light pink with hot pink stars, which added to the personal affect.
Kyle looked around at her dorm room. It was much bigger than his. All his room had was its own bathroom, a desk, and a place for a televisions, which was not used since Kyle spent most of his time absorbed in his studies. That would now change since he had a girlfriend,He smiled over at Gabby and said "Hi," just to be polite. He bit his lip and looked up at Jaycee, grabbing her hand since he was nervous and wasn't sure if he should lounge on the couch yet. He did not like Gabby's fashion sense either, so he wanted to keep his eyes off her and focus on his girlfriend.
Jaycee squeezed Kyle's hand and smiles at him. "Make yourself comfortable. What do you want to watch?" she asked. She dropped his hand for a moment and walked over to the microwave they had packed in the corner and threw a bag of popcorn in. "I've got sci-fi and action. I might be able to find something romancy. It's up to you," she smiled.
"How about action?" he asked, wheeling over to the couch and waiting for Jaycee to come over and sit next to him. He wanted to get a little scared so they could be wrapped up in each other's arms. He also secretly hoped Gabby left, which would leave them completely alone in the gigantic dorm room.
"Okay. I forgot about these horror movies too," she shuffled through her collection of movies. She had taken a film class and really enjoyed movies now. She stopped and thought for a moment then whispered something to Gabby who smiled and left. Jaycee had left for plenty of Gabby's dates so she was happy to return the favor. "My vote is Batman or Saw," Jaycee said returning to her movies. "But I have lots of others too," she added.
"Saw," he said immediately, smirking up at her. He knew she was thinking what he was thinking. They would be tangled in each others arms because the movie was so scary. He watched her put in the movie and smiled up at her, patting the spot next to him and smirking, putting an arm around her.
Jaycee put the movie in and sat by Kyle on the couch. She smiled as his arm went around her. She had seen this movie a million times and even though she thought it was dumb she still found herself getting nervous to watch it.
Kyle smiled back at her, trying to hide his nervousness at watching s horror movie. He had never watched one before. he hoped she couldn't feel his palm sweating as he set it on her shoulder. Then again, maybe she would comfort him a little bit.
"Nervous?" Jaycee asked, sensing the fear rising in Kyle already. "I promise it's not too bad. The only part that's really scary is that this could actually happen, other than that it's not bad," she assured him.
"Okay," he said, subconsciously pulling her closer to him as the movie started. He took a deep breath as the first scene began. This was the first horror movie he had ever seen and he was glad he watching it with Jaycee.
Jaycee reached out and took Kyle's hand that wasn't around her and laced their fingers together. She sighed softly and grimaced, since the opening scenes were a bit more gory than the rest of the film.
Kyle smiled at Jaycee as she took his other hand, squeezing it tightly. A few moments later he jumped and buried his face in the crook of her neck, biting his lip to keep from crying. "Tell me when it's over," he whispered, crying a little bit. By now he had Jaycee pressed up tightly against him and in a tight hug. He tried to focus on her scent to calm himself down.
"Do you want me to turn it off?" Jaycee asked biting her lip. She didn't want to scare him. She didn't like the movie but could watch it. But Kyle was terrified.
"Yes," he said. He just wanted to be close to her. He didn't think he would be terrified. "Can we watch Batman instead?" he asked. he had seen it before and it wasn't as scary of a movie but scary enough that they would both get scared.
"Yeah sure," Jaycee smiled. She stood and switched the discs then sat back down where she had been before. She rested her head on Kyle's shoulder and her hand found his again.
Kyle smiled and pulled her as close to him as he could. He wanted her close to him so he could feel her body for comfort. He knew he wouldn't be scared but he wanted to be sure this time. He squeezed her hand slightly as he looked down at her. She was so beautiful.
"This one isn't scary," Jaycee smiled. She sighed a content, happy sigh. She was glad to be around Kyle. She felt safe and it really excited her that she finally found a good guy. One that wasn't just trying to date her because she was popular.
"I know," he said "I just like being close to you," he said, biting his lip as he looked down at her, rubbing up and down her side with his free hand. His eyes slid down to her lips. They looked so soft, but why was he even looking at them in the first place? They had just started going out. This girl was definitely different than others.
Jaycee saw Kyle's eyes fall to her lips. She felt a blush creep onto her cheeks. "You can kiss me if you want," she whispered to him. She couldn't deny that the idea of kissing Kyle sounded amazing. Her side tingled where his hand moved up and down.

"But it's only the first date," he said as he continued rubbing her side. Wouldn't that be rushing it, especially since they had only started going out hours earlier. Then again, he i like Jaycee a lot and the urge to kiss her was very strong. Was he falling for her too quickly?
Jaycee giggled, "I didn't say make out with me. Do you go by the you can't kiss until the third date rule? If I like someone I'm going to kiss them." Then she looked at him, "but if you don't want to that's fine too." But she knew he wanted to, looking at someone's lips was a sign of it. Unless they were talking.
Kyle blushed deeply since he hadn't even thought about making out with her and leaned in slightly to kiss her. He was nervous since he had never kissed anyone before. Jaycee obviously didn't care about that if she already liked him so much to want to kiss him. He secretly hoped she would close the gap so he wouldn't give her a bad kiss. That would not be good for their relationship, however early into it they were.
Jaycee smiled and placed her hand on Kyle's cheek before she closed the distance, softly pressing her lips to Kyle's. She let them linger for a couple seconds then pulled away and winked at him.
Kyle blushed even more as she winked at him. "What was that for?" he asked, looking down at her. His hands stroked her hair as he stared into her beautiful eyes. He couldn't believe the girl of his dreams had just kissed him. It had been amazing.
"I felt like it. Plus it was sort of my way of saying 'now that wasn't so bad', " Jaycee told Kyle. "You were worried for nothing," she added, smiling at him, a dazzling smile that everyone seemed to fall in love with.
"I was worried about nothing. I liked when yu winked at me." he said, kissing her softly again without thinking. Once he realized what he was doing he blushed deeply and pulled back. WHy had he done that? He knew she wouldn't mind though. He continued staring into her beautiful eyes.
Jaycee giggled, "you're so adorable. You shouldn't be embarrassed to kiss me." Her voice and words were sincere. He should if he wants to, she didn't mind. She liked him a lot.
"I'm not embarrassed to kiss you," he said, pulling her closer to him if that was even possible "that was just the first time I had ever kissed anyone. If I was more experienced with this type of stuff I would probably still be kissing you," he added, blushing even more if that was possible.
Jaycee smiled, "don't worry about that." She could tell that made him nervous. She put her head on his shoulder. She lifted her lips the his jaw, placing a light kiss, then set her head back down. She liked their close proximity and his warmth.
"I won't now," he said against her lips, smiling. He could tell she really liked him if she put up with him being so shy. His whole body tingled as he felt his lips against hers. He put his arms tightly around her and continued kissing her, forgetting completely about the movie. His only focus at that moment was her.
Jaycee found herself smiling on the inside as Kyle kissed her. She was glad he was breaking out of his shell and getting more comfortable with her. It made her happy that she was able to make him a little less shy.
Kyle pulled back a while later and put his forehead against hers, staring into her beautiful eyes. "I like you a lot already,' he said, not blushing as he had done in the past. He was starting to get used to being around Jaycee. He rubbed up and down her back absentmindedly as he stared into her eyes.
"I believe that's a good thing," Jaycee giggled softly. She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the feel of Kyle's touch, then opened her eyes again to meet his. She kissed his nose then whispered, "what ever happened to the movie?"
"I think we may have gotten a bit distracted," he said, smirking at her and kissing her nose in return. He blushed slightly when he realized how long they had been kissing. "Do you want to watch the movie?" He asked her.
"Nah I'm over it," Jaycee said. Suddenly her face was serious, "look Kyle. If people see you and me together the rumors are going to go crazy. You need to ignore them to the best of your ability though. If you believe any you'll go insane."
