How did you guys like this second part? Thoughts on ..."I LOVED the illustrations! They were so cool! A lot of people said they were an immature add-on, but I don't care! I really though the book was good, although a lot of the characters felt stereotypical, and I wish Jodi Picoult went into more depth with them (Allie, Raj, sometimes Jules, et cetera). My favorite character was Humphrey, or maybe Frump, Jessamyn, Oliver...too many to choose from
I finished this in one day!!!!!!!!!!!(the 7th) SO SO SO SO GOOD
The illustrations were awesome! And I liked most of the characters but my favorite was Jules!Although I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I didn't find the ending believable. I cannot believe that Edgar was willing to spend an eternity in a book. Sure, his mother was dying and he wanted to be with her! But for forever?? Now he has given up any chances he had of going to college, traveling, getting married, having kids, and growing old. AND he will never get to be with Jules! I think that that is terribly sad and disappointing, especially since Jules and Edgar were my two favorite characters.
Does anyone else feel the same about the ending?

YES! I kept thinking: Don't throw away your life! I know how sad it is that Jessamyn was dying, but Edgar should've had more common sense.

Yeah, the ending required some serious suspension of disbelief. When they were coming up with the plan and I realized there was only like 20 pages left of the book, I was like, "Really? This is the plan? Okay..." Even though I found her annoying, I felt bad how screwed over Jules got in the end. Like she's basically Delilah now, the boy she loves is a "fictional" boy, she's one day going to grow old and forget about him.
It was an odd and not a perfect ending, but I still found some enjoyment. It was a really sweet happily ever after ending.
AND EVERYONE LIVES HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!!! (except for Jules and Edgar but shhhh)I enjoyed this so freaking much.
I absolutley love Jules and am a little disappointed she didn't get her happy ending (I assume there may be another book?), but overall so cute. I love that we got to see all these characters in the real world; Seraphima and Allie cracked me up.
So good!!
Really enjoyed this book, the elements of fantasy and contemporary were done so well and I loved the cross over!! Great choice for the booksplosion book!!
This was such a cute read! I flew through it. I didn't read it's companion and found I was fine, there were enough information dropped that I could figure out what had happened in the previous book. I loved the different colored writting for each point of the view. Overall I thought it was great:)
THIS COMMENT HAS SPOILERS-DONT READ UNLESS FINISHED BOOKThis book was amazing! It is a fairy tale that can be enjoyed by all ages. I flew through the book! I did read "Between the Lines" first, which I think helped me enjoy this book so much more, as I was more invested in the fairy tale and the characters. I loved all of the characters. There were so many twists and turns! I totally did not see the death of Frump coming! It came out of no where! I loved how Jessamyn was saved by getting to live in her own story! That is so clever! The illustrations were amazing, as well! The whole book is a work of art, with the illustrations and different colored text depending on whose point of view the chapter is from. The only thing that disappointed me was how Jules was left without her perfect, happy ending. However, that was the only thing that didn't completely satisfying. This book is so unique that I can't even compare it to any other book! I rated it 5 stars. It has been one of the best books that I have read in 2015!

I understand what you all are saying, but it is his mom for Pete's sake! I would have done the same thing. Sure, he would never see Jules again, but he would get to be with his mother! Wow.. that seemed harsh. idk I just have a really strong relationship with my mom which I guess is why I feel this way. However, I do wish that the solution to their problems would have been happier, because I do think Jules and Edgar deserved a happier ending!
