Hmm ~ normal upbringing, when Mine turned 20 and yours 17 they were forced to participate against parents will - their town was bombarded with WICKED guards causing this to happen. Before entering maze, both memories were wiped and they went up together, all they remember is that they are brothers, only because they felt in and kinda guessed. And also cause they look the same.
