Axel question

I just picked a random book because I had to in order to post this. Okay - I didn't know where to put this topic, but I just recently remembered that I read a book, pretty sure it was a new adult book. It's a military romance. The main guy's name was Jaxson or Jaxon I think? (not really sure about the main guy's name - but I'm pretty sure it started with a J) So, it's told in the girl's point of view and she and the Jax guy were bf and gf when they were in high school. Then he and his group of friends went to the military (not sure which branch). Years later, they meet again (Jax + his friends come back) and fall in love. I think the girl was pregnant too but lost the baby (she was a teen at the time - not sure if I'm confusing this part with another book) and apparently the book ends in a cliffhanger way because one of the other male characters - JAx's friend who also went to the military, was really changed by the war - he had done something for a girl at the place where he was at in some kind of operation and saved her. So the book ends with this male character meeting that girl he met during combat and just ends there. I think the girl figured out who he was and ran from him? Sorry if this wasn't that descriptive - this was all I remembered of the book! If any of you have any idea or possible ideas - please tell me in here!! Thank you! I love a good military romance and the ending to this book really made me want to read the sequels but I don't think I ever put it in my goodreads because I didn't use GR for awhile at the time. Thanks!
