Grrrr, I have such a problem with that question. The Harry Potter series is my all time favorite, but it seems unfair to others books that are just as worthy, like Divergent, the Abarat series by Clive Barker, and The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making and it's sequels by Catherynne M. Valente.
