What is your least favorite instrument?

message 1357: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Jeez…depends on what kind of song it's in. Right now, I'm hating on non-reed woodwinds in general.

What is your favorite musical instrument?

Taylor | 0 comments Loyalty -- a trait I'm trying to master every day.

What is your favorite get-to-know-you question? Ask it.

Kiwi.

message 1366: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod

message 1368: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments Lav wrote: "I do! (Most of the time.)

Whatever you're doing, make it something you can be proud of.

message 1369: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Hmmm. I dunno if I really have a "best friend" but my cousin Lexi and I live together so we're really close. I love pretty much everything about her. She's willing to act crazy with me, she listens to me ramble, she's hilarious, creative, intelligent. Yeah.

Do you prefer books or movies?

message 1370: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I get emotional during all books, haha. I'd have to say Saving Francesca. Because there was this tension and ache in me the entire time I was reading it. I didn't cry as much as I've cried at other books (like The Fault in Our Stars and Code Name Verity) but it emotionally drained me, in a really beautiful way. So yes.

Favorite fictional character?

message 1371: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments Julie/Queenie/Eva Seiler. even though I can barely think of her without grief.

What about you?

message 1372: by [deleted user] (new)

Ferrin from the Beyonders series, followed closely by Drake.

When was the last time you cried?

message 1373: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Margo Roth Speigelman.

If you had to live in a book, as one of the characters, what book would you be in and who would you be?

message 1374: by [deleted user] (last edited Apr 06, 2013 11:08PM) (new)

I think (here we go again) I'd like to be Farfalee from Beyonders. She's beautiful, a skilled warrior, very intelligent, practically immortal, and has a wonderful husband and son.

What's one thing you're so passionate about that you feel like you could talk about it forever?

message 1375: by Elliott (last edited Apr 06, 2013 11:10PM) (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Liane: Being alone forever.

Maxy: Any story, really. Right now probably Les Mis.

What do you want most?

Liane wrote: "Sooo many questions :D
@Maxy Last night, when the stress of my studies have become too overwhelming.

@Lav
Beyonders as Rachel or HP as Hermione.

Greatest fear?"

(Sorry, we overlapped again. I have a lot of fears. Dying, growing old, looking back on my life and feeling like I wasted it, never learning how to work hard and be self-sufficient. Those are the big ones. AND YOU'VE READ BEYONDERS? *flails*)

message 1377: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Hmm. I don't really know. I try not to judge what people do, as long as they aren't hurting others.

What is your favorite type of plot?

message 1378: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
My Freshman year of high school, I was really depressed from December to June and it was awful.

Do you like to talk on the phone?

(I'm not really sure. Like, I've struggled with it to some extent every winter/spring, but that winter was the first time and it was worse than anything else, for whatever reason. There was this weird complicated guy issue so I think that probably added to it.)

My old best friend.

Do you talk about your feelings a lot?

message 1381: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah. I see a therapist twice a week, so I don't have much of a choice. But even without that I do talk about my feelings and myself in general a lot.
