Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments Well not so much what would I have back, but who. I was really close to my Nanny(grandmother) and she passed away two years ago. I wish I could have her back, and my dog, and my aunt, who lost the battle to cancer, and grandpa, and poppa, and Nanna and poppy. I miss so many people. I would give anything up for more time with them. Even a huge.

Is there something you want to do in you lifetime?

message 5752: by [deleted user] (new)

I want to do so many things in my life. I want to travel, and I want to write songs and perform in a Broadway musical.

How do you make hard decisions?

message 5753: by Josie (new)

Josie | 25 comments For really hard decisions, I tend to just leave it up to someone else to solve instead of worrying myself.

Do you have a bucket list? If so, what are a few things on it?

message 5754: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Yep. I have 30 things on it so far. The main one is to just travel everywhere, in a VW van. Here's a few more- skydive, learn how to surf, publish a book, give a speech without dying, visit Harry Potter studio in London, open up rehab centre for homeless, learn arabic.

I dream big.

Whats something about yourself that makes you proud to be you?

message 5755: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments I am proud to be me because I am different, truly unique. I believe everyone should feel this way, because everyone is special. Given the chance to who you are, you become a beautiful person.

What are your life plans?

message 5756: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Finish university, marry, travel everywhere in a VW van. Note bucket list above. If that doesn't work, I'm going to do all it takes to not end up living in a suburban town home with two kids and two bathrooms and a 9-5 job with an income that helps pay for weekend mall trips. *shudders*

Same?

message 5757: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments I want to go to college to become a CYW(child and youth worker) I love children, but I don't wish to have my own, but rather work with them. I would like to get married one day, if I find the right person. I would also like to perhaps settle down with that person and adopt/foster children, if they would like the same. I also love to write, and I hope to continue that throughout my life even as a hobby.

What is the best advise you can give a person?

message 5758: by Sarvenaz (new)

Sarvenaz (sarvenazsarvy) | 17 comments Read harry potter

Same?

message 5759: by Alyza (new)

Alyza | 25 comments My advice is to not die wondering about any "what ifs"
When and why did you cry last?

message 5760: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments I saw this trailer for a documentary called The Drop Box, and I was already feeling down weighted by the worlds inhumanity.. Anyways, in Korea tons of babies are found abandoned, so much so that this man developed a system of drop boxes; boxes which look like ovens where you can leave the baby in so they don't die in the cold. Every aspect of that, the goodness that comes, and the terrible reasons made me cry. .. I encourage you to watch it.

How would you sum up 2014 in a few words that describes how you developed over the year? Like the main thing you learnt, did, etc..

message 5761: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments In 2014 I began to learn who I really am, and to embrace it. I learned that even when you lose so many people in you life, your still goes in. I learned to tell the people around me just how I feel about them, because I don't know when they will be leaving me.

Who do you want to be in the end?

message 5762: by Sarvenaz (new)

Sarvenaz (sarvenazsarvy) | 17 comments i want to be someone to be remembered as a smart, nice, problem solving, etc etc person.;)

who is your least favorite author?

message 5763: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments I guess I don't have one. Probably whoever wrote 50 Shades of Grey. Oh and Stephanie Meyer. Haven't read any of them though..

A song that makes you sad, but a good kind of sad?

message 5764: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), J. R. R Tolkien and my future spouse.

What's something you never thought you'd be able to do, but now you can?

message 5765: by Ben (last edited Feb 27, 2015 08:33PM) (new)

Ben Wong (bendwong) | 41 comments Talk to girls xD Yep. That's probably it.
Teenagers, right?

Most annoying writing cliche, passed and/or present?

message 5766: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Love triangles ugh.

Favourite book not targeted towards your age group?

message 5767: by Josie (new)

Josie | 25 comments The Trumpet of the Swan.

What's your worst fear?

message 5768: by Ben (new)

Ben Wong (bendwong) | 41 comments Being alone when I need company most.

Same?

message 5769: by Alyza (new)

Alyza | 25 comments Not becoming successful in what I want to do, or not achieving thing I wish to achieve.

If you could be born in any time period, which would you choose?

message 5770: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments Omg this is crazy, as I was scrolling down I thought I was going to ask that same question lol! I would wanted to have been born in medieval England, my only issue with it is the woman's rights in those days were virtually non-existent so I probably would have either dressed up like a man to go sword fight or have been a courageous woman...
swords, archery, castles, princesses, Robin hood, King Arthur, forests, horseback riding...what could be better?

Ummm...Would you have survived the hunger games?

message 5771: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments Btw maybe I'm the only one with this problem, but I only go to goodreads on my phone and when I read threads on groups only 50 comments load at a time , so I usually can't be involved in threads that have too many comments...
if others are having the same problem maybe we could continue this game on a new thread called "answer my question continued"?

message 5772: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Mindy, usually there's an option to read newest comments first, unless that doesn't work either?

message 5773: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments OMG thank you Halah, lol I just scrolled through 6500 posts to read that...
yeah I see now there's such an option lol

message 5774: by Alyza (new)

Alyza | 25 comments I definitely would not of survived the Hunger Games. I would chicken out of grabbing anything in the beginning. I would probably hide in a tree or something and die of thirst because I would be too scared to come down. Lol every online quiz I took said I was going to be the first to die. :/ my luck xD

A book/series you read when you were younger that really got you into reading?

message 5775: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments Actually I used to hate to read in first grade because it was so hard reading about the cat that sat on the mat , I used to do anything to get out of reading. So my mum wanted to get me into reading so she read to me aloud every night The Hobbit. I know, not the typical choice for a six year old, but it worked! Once saw how beautiful, enchanting, and adventurous reading could be I was hooked for life.

If you could spend a day in another person's shoes, who would it be?

message 5776: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Mindy wrote: "OMG thank you Halah, lol I just scrolled through 6500 posts to read that...

Lol wow, no problem ;p

message 5777: by Halah (last edited Mar 02, 2015 12:03PM) (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Somebody really rich so I would make them buy me everything I want (an rv, plane tickets, books, poverty diminished) and then return to my own shoes.

Same?

message 5778: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments If I could spend a day in someone else's shoes I would like to spend it in the shoes of someone less fortunate than me, I'd really like to know what other people go through, and I think it would be a real eye opener.

If you could do anything you wanted and you knew you couldn't fail, what would you do?

message 5779: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments I would go for a career. The reason I'm so undecided still is because I'm not sure I'm good enough for what I enjoy. I love writing, reading , acting, and psychology but I don't know if I'm good enough to make a career out of it. Enjoying something doesn't necessarily mean you'd succeed at it, and I'm scared to take the plunge because imagine if after 80,000$ on schooling and 8 years of my life I realize this isn't for me? Wish I could be certain.

If you could change one societal norm what would it be and why?

message 5780: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Destroying the gender binary lol. There's no purpose for it and was only implemented in the first place off the false assumption there are only two sexes and as a way to establish order in society. It's only lead to all sorts of issues. I'd love to totally demolish gender stereotypes and then everyone can express themselves the way they want to and the world would be a wonderful place to be.

What season best suits your personality and why?

message 5781: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Hmm, fall. Because its cold enough that its not too crowded, but warm enough that it brings out the people who appreciate it. idk. I like dressing for fall, covered up. And I love nature and fall is a beautiful to be outdoors. I guess.

Are you interested in joining the contest that i put up? (please do we need more contestants)

message 5782: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Yes!! I'm finishing a novel right now though and I have to think up of a story line.

Do you like citrus fruit?

message 5783: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Yay! Sure, good luck with your novel.

I like oranges. Clementines, tangerines etc.

Whats was the most difficult decision you've had to make?

message 5784: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments Whether to keep something a secret or to tell the truth and get support and help. I chose truth and have never regretted it.

If you had 24 hours left to live what would you do with it?

message 5785: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Pray, spend time with family, tie up any lose ends I may have, say sorry to anyone I may have offended.. Basically make sure the place I'm leaving behind will help in the next place I go ._. And then fly to BC and watch the stars on a mountain, or near a beach. Nice place to die.

Whats worse to you, emotional pain or physical pain?

message 5786: by Ben (last edited Mar 06, 2015 05:02PM) (new)

Ben Wong (bendwong) | 41 comments Physical pain. Does it make me weird if I necessarily enjoy emotional pain? It's part of being a writer, I suppose. Getting my leg cut off, that'd be some painful stuff, and sure, I could write a scene about that. But losing a family member, resenting the environment you live in, that kind of emotional pain is what an experience is forged in. That's what I'd rather read or write.
Really good question, by the way.

Same?

message 5787: by Alyza (new)

Alyza | 25 comments Emotional pain b/c when I am physically in pain I know how long it will last, but emotional pain is unpredictable. Plus, I have a very high tolerance for pain.

Hmm, One thing you would tell your past self?

message 5788: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments (good answers!)

I wouldn't tell her anything, she was happy. Maybe to stay as happy as possible and to keep playing and pretending. But I'd rather leave her be..

What's the first moment that comes to mind when you think of the happiest you've been?

message 5789: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments Sitting on the bus in summer camp, coming home from a fun trip at a water park. I was lying with my eyes closed, my head reading on my best friend's shoulder listening to my iPod. Truth is, I don't think it was the water park or the fun that made this the best memory as much as it was being at peace with myself and among loving friends who cared about me. It was Belonging.

message 5790: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments Oops, forgot to leave a question. Same?

message 5791: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments when I was about 12? ish, my family and I drove down to the countryside and stopped at a field of tall grass, the dark green thick kind, and we spent hours just lying around, playing hide and seek and enjoying the calm. It was a beautiful day.

Do you talk to yourself?

message 5792: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments The real question is when am I not talking to myself.

Do you like peanut butter?

message 5793: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments Lol Hayden, you made me laugh...I also talk to myself all the time.
Yeah, I love peanut butter!

What's your favorite classic?

message 5794: by Alyza (new)

Alyza | 25 comments Tale of two cities (:

If you could miraculously instantly pick up and one talent/skill, what would it be?

message 5795: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments I'm torn between drawing and singing. Probably the latter.

What's a field of science you like?

message 5796: by Halah (last edited Mar 08, 2015 04:12PM) (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments I used to like biology until grade 12.

Whats something about you that people would never guess.. about you..?

message 5797: by Bidemi (new)

Bidemi | 32 comments I was born green

message 5798: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Diamond | 190 comments lol bidemi

message 5799: by Alyza (new)

Alyza | 25 comments I'm going to just ask a question b/c she forgot to xD

Biggest FEAR (not spiders or the dark, but something you are REALLY afraid of happening)
