Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments People as in the world or family and friends? I don't really care about the world remembering me... But as for f & f, Id like if they looked back and saw me as a positive person in their life, who made them happy.

Is there a country/place that you hope you never visit?

message 5652: by [deleted user] (new)

Back to basics: What are you currently reading?

message 5660: by Halah (last edited Dec 22, 2014 05:26PM) (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Woah. Um, either the truth about islam, or the power of human compassion.

Why do you write?

message 5661: by [deleted user] (new)

Because I'd be sad and bored if I didn't write. Because it's fun. Because I have so many ideas, and in that case, what's the point of NOT writing?

Do you have any posters on your walls? What do they say/show?

message 5662: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments No, I have a frame though. Its focused on a red bike in a b &w picture of Denmark.

Perhaps you are thinking: 'Yes, but how am I going to pay the credit-card company?'
Don't be silly. You have a tank, right?” - Dave Barry

message 5670: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Cool ^^

No I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Do you find that when you read a book, that books style of writing affects your own writing?

message 5671: by [deleted user] (new)

Eh, occasionally. When I was into a lot of Gary Paulsen books I wrote more like, well, Gary Paulsen, but I've since learned to develop my own style.

Is the weather cold where you live, like it is here?

message 5676: by [deleted user] (new)

What's your work in progress about?

message 5677: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments Well right now I'm writing a story about a girl named Amy. She dies and is pulled into a secret society that is devoted to saving other people's lives. I have posted a really rough chunk of it in the dystopia section. It's called "Patchwork" if you are interested. I will be posing the rest of the first chapter if I get any feedback.

message 5678: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments And I forgot to ask a question. Silly me.

Hmmm,
What is the strangest book you have ever read, and what is it about?

message 5679: by [deleted user] (new)

Codex--about a video game and an old book. Hush, Hush, about fallen angels, was pretty weird. Coming in third place: The Time Machine (self-explanatory).

Favorite writing utensil?

message 5680: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments I write on my iPod. I don't know if that counts but I write everything from my book, to essays on it.

What are you afraid of?

message 5681: by Halah (last edited Dec 24, 2014 08:46AM) (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Wow, I can barely type texts on my phone! You are skilled.

I'm afraid of Judgment day and the things that lead up to it. And also ending up getting married to a boring person, living in suburbia in a town home with two kids and a normal job with nothing to live for *shudders* I HATE suburbia, its a nightmare..

What were you afraid of before, but have now conquered your fears over?

message 5682: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments I was afraid of chicken bones. I'm not kidding I honesty was afraid of chicken bones for a while because I had a bad experience with a cooked bird when I was younger. But now I am not afraid anymore because I have realized that its dead and it probably won't hurt me. Plus I was afraid of what my friends would think.

Do you have any interesting pets? Do they do special tricks?

message 5683: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I have a horse! She's a brat, though, so she barely does normal horse things like walking when I ask her to walk and not bucking when I ask her to trot, haha.

Whats a book that changed your mind about something? What was the something?

message 5690: by Christian (new)

Christian Beswick (CABeswick) | 43 comments That's a really cool word!

A book that changed my mind about something....
The Cage, by Ruth Minsky Sender. That was one of the books that changed my mind about my life. Before reading I was having a hard time, and I thought my life sucked because things kept happening to me and my family. This book is about a holocaust survivor, and one of the books that changed my attitude. I realized that these people had gone through so much, and yet they still had the strength to keep living. I realized that I did to, and I have a lot to live for.

Who is your hero and why?

message 5691: by Sarvenaz (new)

Sarvenaz (sarvenazsarvy) | 17 comments Uh......those the creator of fanfiction.net and goodreads count? Because they saved my life. ;)

Do you have any New Years' Resolutions?

message 5697: by Alina (last edited Jan 04, 2015 07:49PM) (new)

Alina (alinapink-rose) | 331 comments Oh geez, I don't even know. I guess whoever I'd love for the rest of my life? Because I'd rather talk to my whole family and all my friends instead of just picking one.

Are you excited for the second semester to end or want it to stick around? (Assuming you're in school of course)

message 5698: by Alyza (new)

Alyza | 25 comments Want it to stick around... I like school. I just don't like WAKING UP for school. xD
What is one think you always procrastinate doing?

message 5699: by Alina (new)

Alina (alinapink-rose) | 331 comments Um... Life? No I'm just kidding. I usually put off doing my hobbies lately. Which is not something I'd normally do, but I've just been so busy with school that it's difficult to do anything but work and sleep. :P

Have you seen a movie that has moved you so much, to where you think it might have changed your life a bit?

message 5700: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Oh geez, TONS of times. There are a lot of really good movies that when it ends, your mind has been blown and your life is changed. Vertigo did that for me for sure, good grief.

What's the temperature right now?
