message 501: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Yes. I have two, one from 2011 and another for this year. I like the idea of having a bunch of old calendars hanging up on my wall which is STUPID and pointless but oh well. I don't use the new one, either.

What's your favorite drink?

message 502: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Dr. Pepper or apple cider.

Is it hard for you to fall asleep at night?

message 503: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
If I stray away from routine then yes. It's very complicated I won't get into it ><

Write a five song playlist?

message 504: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
When I'm Lonely I Listen To:

This is Twice Now by Lydia
Can't Go Back Now by The Weepies
New Slang by The Shins
9 Crimes by Damien Rice
Below My Feet by Mumford and Sons

Same?

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Songs that make me feel... like nostaligc and kind of... meloncholy IDK I'm bad at playlists
Into the Airwaves by Jack's Mannequin
Nineteen by Tegan and Sara
In Our Bedroom After the War(possibly my favorite song of al time) by Stars
My Girls by Animal Collective
1901 by Phoenix

What is the most beautiful song you can think of?

message 506: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing by Sufjan Stevens.
Because it's my favorite hymn and Sufjan is magical.

Do you have a fire escape ladder outside of your room?

message 507: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
HAHA no I live on the first floor. That would be hilarious tho.

What's a good boy's name?

message 508: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Hubert.

Are you tired?

message 509: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Yes, why am I up?

Would you dye your hair?

message 510: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Probably not. I'm a good blond. XD

Do you have a hangnail?

message 511: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Yeah, I'm probably getting purple streaks this summer.

Is your room messy?

message 512: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Taylor - Yes
Lav - YES

Do you find it easy to come up with titles?

message 513: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Hahaha, no. It's so hard for me to come up with a good title.

Has anyone ever written a song for you?

message 514: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
I think Baxter may have written me a birthday song. Actually, I know for sure that Krista wrote me a birthday song like two years ago or something. But yeah, haha.

Have you ever written a song?

message 515: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Yeah, I used to write terrible songs in middle school. And a few weeks ago I composed something for this Rilke poem on the piano if that counts as a song but I never finished it so blah.

Do you cry easily?

message 516: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Uhhh it depends. I guess.

What's your favorite type of flower?

message 517: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Don't have one, really.

What's yours?

message 518: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
I like tulips.

Do you know a lot about something because you researched it for a novel?

message 519: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Hmmm. I have no idea. I can't think of any flowers right now.

Do you watch Doctor Who?

message 520: by Taliah (new)

Taliah Lagons | 161 comments I used to be really into it, but I'm not a fan of the Matt Smith episodes.

What's the best excuse you've given for not doing your homework (and by best I mean most creative/interesting)?

message 521: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Hmm. I usually just say it's because I'm lazy. I don't really make things up about it. Once I told my mom I couldn't get anything done because of anxiety... it's not really that creative but that's the best one I can think of. :P

Do you like reading classics?

message 522: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments Yes, I enjoy reading classic novels. But if I had a choice between a really good classic or a really good contemporary, I'd pick the contemporary book.

Which would you pick?

message 523: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Hm, it depends on my mood. Right now my brain is so fried from school that I can't handle classics. I had to pause reading The Hobbit and start a different book because I missed reading. (Unfortunately the book I'm reading is kind of awful because there's no dialogue and it's driving me insane. Because there was a ton of snow here so my holds are backed up at the library grr.) But yeah, I enjoy reading both.

Do you think you will write adult fiction when you are an adult?

message 524: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments Well I wanted to write children's books when I was a child and I want to write YA now that I'm a teenager. But I think the YA category is so much broader than what is considered adult. As of now, I think I'll stick with that.

Would you ever become a teacher?

message 525: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I don't think so. I mean, there's a chance I could change my mind, but at this point I definitely don't want to teach.

What's your favorite band?

message 526: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments I like rock music, so Neon Trees, FUN., Coldplay, stuff like that. Not really one specific band.

Do you... um... do you like water?

message 527: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I love water! And now I'm thirsty. Hmm. Which will win? The thirst or the laziness? xD

Are you a generally happy person?

message 528: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments To be honest I've got a bit of a temper, but I have a lot to be grateful for and I'm satisfied with my life. I consider myself one of the lucky ones.

What are you most grateful for?

message 529: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Right now, the ability to read. I don't know where I'd be without that. My entire life has been consumed by stories.

Have you ever fallen in love?

message 530: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments Yes. (Oh what you wanted details? Sorry nope.)

Have you ever loved someone who didn't love you back?

message 531: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Kind of. I mean, they love(d) me back. But not the way I think/thought I love(d) them. We used to be really good friends, though, which was all I really wanted anyways but now we don't really talk so blah.

Do you like to talk about your feelings to other people?

message 532: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments It depends on the person, and it depends on what it is. I keep my deepest feelings locked up inside myself, and I share less heavy feels indiscriminately.

Same question?

message 533: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
It depends on my mood and how I'm feeling. Sometimes I'll just start rambling about how I'm feeling to the first person available and sometimes I keep things inside. But I think I function better when I can talk to people about how I'm feeling.

Do you like school or does it stress you out?

message 534: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments I usually like it but all the homework has been stressing me out lately.

Do tests make you anxious?

message 535: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Yes. All of school has been making me anxious lately. *shakes fist at school*

Are you a fan of Les Miserables?

message 536: by Brigid ✩, No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. (new)

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Uhhh well I like the musical. I haven't seen the movie. I'm not obsessed with it the way most people seem to be nowadays. :P

How many houses/apartments have you lived in?

message 537: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Um, seven or eight.

Are you very attached to your house?

message 538: by [deleted user] (new)

Sort of. I mean, I've lived in it all my life, and I'm sure there will be times in the future when I miss it. But it's falling apart right now and that's kind of stressing me out to no end. I could definitely stand to move somewhere else.

What's one of your musical guilty pleasures?

message 539: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
I just bought Thrift Shop on itunes...

What state would never move to?

message 541: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Ummm Percy Jackson haha.

What state would you never move to?

message 542: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Alaska.

Have you ever been in serious trouble at school?

message 543: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Nooope.

Have you ever skipped class?

message 544: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Freshman year I used to go to the locker room and listen to music when I couldn't handle school. And once I told me PE teacher that I was feeling sick and took a nap in his office. But not really. My friends and I are planning an epic senior ditch day for next year so hopefully that works out.

Do you think you'll drink when you're in college?

message 545: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Probablyyyy not like excessively though.

What's your favorite historical time period?

message 546: by Isaac (new)

message 547: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
