Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments No, I've read Infernal Devices though and it was pretty good. I'm not really interested in COB though, because it takes place in modern times and I can only imagine what that will be like.. Unless I'm mistaken but oh well..

Whats the top item on your wish list?

message 5052: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Graf Yes! And I just finished City of Glass, and I loves the end. Everything was just so right at the end, I'm a little upset that there are two books after it.

If you read the entire series of the Mortal Instruments, do you think continuing the trilogy into a series was a good move for Cassandra Clare?

message 5053: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan @Michelle

I think that's the new books in the Mortal Instruments have a lot more intrigue than the original trilogy. Also, since so much has already happened, the characters are already well developed, so it's nice to see them settle into their new lives. So far, I think it's good. But my final say will depend on how she finishes the series off.

@Dermutrolin

Avatar (the one with the Na'vi and aliens).

Has there ever been a moment in a movie that you thought was funny but no one else in the theater did?

message 5054: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Graf Urg, that's so hard to answer. If I still had long hair, I could pull off Moaning Myrtle with scary accuracy.i did before, and won honorary mention in a Harry Potter costume contest. But this time, I'd say I want to cosplay Hatsune Miku, one of the Vocaloids.

Same?

message 5055: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Hmm Quorra from Tron would be pretty cool. Or an elf from LOTR.
If I had the stuff.

Do you do homework during winter break?

message 5056: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan Yes. Only because I have AP classes and they all assign homework over break :(

message 5057: by Alina (new)

Alina (alinapink-rose) | 331 comments No question?

Okay here is one;

What book are you just dying for it to come out?

message 5058: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan Oops. I forgot to put a new question.

I can't wait to the third book for the Throne of Glass to come out. I read the Crown of Midnight a little while ago and I'm still thinking about it.

Do you have a favorite kind of cookie?

message 5059: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments I'm a cookie monster haha. I like chocolate chip, and then those ones with the creme and red chewy stuff in the middle. idk what they're called. I'll eat any cookie though.

Last book you bought?

Saru (Queen of Bookland) (sarulovesbooks) | 3290 comments I bought 3 at the same time: The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken , The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1) by Rick Riordan , and Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer .

Same ?

message 5061: by Halah (last edited Dec 11, 2013 08:07PM) (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Four books: (Recycled Reading is awesome)
Life of Pi
The Count of Monte Cristo
The Three Musketeers
and this awesome leather cover edition of
The Brothers Grimm

Do you ever get scared to read a book that youve waited so long for?

message 5062: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (nerdatlas) | 279 comments Yes. Right now that's Mockingjay for me. I've started it, and even though life's definitely not peachy-keen for Katniss, I know it gets worse. I've heard spoilers. So I'm kinda stuck, wanting to preserve them in that specific moment to save them from the pain that will obviously happen even when I don't read it.

Most looked forward to movie adaption of a book?

message 5063: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments (Haha same. And I had a right to be...)

Right now, the Book Thief. Still haven't seen it.

Who do you look up to?

message 5067: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Hm, I don't know. I admire quite a few poeple, but idk if that's looking up to someone..
Maybe Brian Selznick. He's a great writer as well as artist which is what I'd like to be, and I love drawing his illustrations. Inspirational and all that.

Same?

message 5068: by Sum (new)

The weirdest thing you've searched up?

message 5070: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Graf I was looking for images of childhood for an art project, ended up on 'childhood ruined'. Don't look this up, it is some of the most sick perverted things ever found on the Internet. And it really does ruin your childhood.

Same?

Michelle Graf Yes, especially the ones in Mystery Science Theater 3000, it's a tv show/movie series that makes fun of horrible horror movies.

message 5097: by Megan (new)

Megan Mweemba (meganlovesbooks) | 3196 comments Oh man this question is almost impossible for me to answer. I love so many musicals and for so many different reasons. Ummm I think I have to say either Les Miserables or Next To Normal. But I love Phantom so much too...

It's caused by that, and whenever you just sick or hurt. Basically your fingernails are representative of your overall health (like how smokers get the brittle yellow fingernails).

I am not a clean freak. More of a "control the chaos" type of person.

What are you up to right now?
