I personally prefer their newer stuff, but some of their earlier songs stand to me. Like this one.

Lol, I fangirl every time someone mentions her name as well. :P
She's releasing new stuff? *screams as well* XD

Manager: What have you got playing in your headphones?
Me: A Japanese interpretation of Western early Romantic-era music.
Translation: Spirited Away film score. XD

WHOA I HAVE TO LISTEN TO THAT SOUNDTRACK THEN. That sounds incredible.

Emily! A story you might like to hear: on Friday I went to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall (which is a beautiful beautiful building btw) given by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and it was a celebration of John Williams' music! They played all his really well-known things: Schindler's List, Jurassic Park, Jaws (the basses played the first two notes and everyone started laughing - it's a testament to him as a composer, that he can write something so recognisable and iconic that it can provoke such a reaction from everyone in an audience of around five thousand) The Witches of Eastwick, Superman, etc etc, and of course some of the pieces from Star Wars. It was the first time we'd taken my little brother (who's eight) to a concert, and he really adored it as the pieces were all so familiar to and exciting for children.

Ahhh, that sounds incredible! I may or may not be extremely envious. I'm really glad your brother liked it too. John Williams is just wonderful. *heart eyes emoji*

I definitely will.

Oops sorry it took me a couple of days to reply. But yes I have! I really like it ... I think it's a bit more reminiscent of her older stuff, which is cool. :)

Okay, both Sam and Saru like it, now I have to listen to it!

Well that is the actual title but I read something about the reason it's named that is because the record label or somebody told them their song titles were too long so they just took all the vowels out of that one. xD

AHHH I'M SO GLAD. Little Machines, I take it? I've pretty much been listening to it on repeat every day since it came out, haha. I think it's her best work so far, although her first two albums are really great as well.

Yeah, Little Machines! I didn't know she had other albums, I will have to look into them too. I love it!!
