What Are You Listening To?

I mean... do The Mowgli's count? That's probably not indie enough, or folk enough. XD

I don't really know what 'counts' but I quite like folk sorts of things so you might like:
Aidan Knight
Laura Marling
Seabear
Ólöf Arnalds
Pascal Pinon
Paper Aeroplanes
Iron & Wine
does Said the Whale count??? you might like them anyway
ditto Arab Strap
Beirut
Lisa Hannigan
Sóley
It's a Musical
Johnny Flynn
Regina Spektor writes in a lot of different style but has lots of like...anti-folk influences??? especially in her early things, her first three albums and something to play them in are the only things I'd want with me if I were stranded on a desert island.

In my opinion, Daughter is just…Daughter. They're their own genre.
@Colby
Never heard of 'em. I'll check them out.
@Tesni
THANK YOU! Said the Whale definitely counts…they're a favorite of mine. Regina Spektor is also up there…I actually think she has the most songs on my favorites list.
I've heard of a lot of these, but haven't really followed their music. I'll get started. Thanks again!
@Allison
Enchanted is my favorite song by T-Swizzle. Sparks Fly is a close second. :)

Alrighty, just some suggestions:
The Head and the Heart
Boy & Bear
Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros
Jake Bugg
Eliza and the Bear
The Paper Kites
The Decemberists
Before the Brave
Fleet Foxes
The Oh Hellos
Mighty Oaks
First Aid Kit
Wooly & the Mammoth
Lauren Mann and the Fairly Odd Folk
Hopefully that's enough for now? I can keep going. :P

Also if you like good soul music, I've been listening to Michael Kiwanuka a lot. He's got a pretty retro sound almost like Otis Redding.

I swear I'm actually listening to her songs that I haven't heard, this one just happened to start when I started my comment. :P
Pentatonix - Rather Be
SLAY, KIRSTIE.
I just cannot stress how long I've wanted a solo from her. The only full studio songs she gets other than this one are O Holy Night and Say Something.

Pentatonix - Papaoutai
Not that I'm a fluent French speaker, but Scott's accent sounds pretty good here. I've only noticed one or two slips. And I love that Kevin's doing some of the electronic bits on his cello.
(Their new album is coming out this week so basically I'm not listening to anyone else sorry)

Haha cool. XD Yeah I've been working on this massive instrumental music playlist to listen to when I write and/or do homework, and I came across his stuff while looking for stuff to add. It's really nice! I'll be sure to listen to more. :)

Megan and Saru, speaking of La La Latch, you might enjoy this gem because I laugh every time I see it: http://weavewordsintoworlds.tumblr.co...

His whole album "Memoryhouse" is phenomenal. I particularly recommend "Last Days." I couldn't listen to that song for a few weeks because it's exactly the style I'm going for in a lot of my music. :)

*wild flailing*
Also, does anyone here listen to City and Color?
Pentatonix - Standing By
It's been on repeat for like an hour. Avi's voice will be the end of me.
