Ahhh I need to listen to Banks more. I've heard a few of her songs and remember really liking them but haven't listened to them much...

Hahahaahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! Pompeii!!!!!!!!!! I seriously just heard that song a month ago and ever since then have not heard it that much but I love it!!!!!!

(Who comes up with the name 'imagine dragons'"
Okay, right as I read your comment, "Radioactive" came on. Creepy.
And their name is actually a word scramble--unscramble the letters and you get their real name.

Hahaha what. O_o I never knew that either. Interesting. Goodness gracious some of the comments on that article though:
"Dragon image. Refers to lucifer and his image in revelation as they shall worship his image. They did not pick the name it was given to them by their luciferians coven."
... lolwut.

"While singer Dan Reynolds and drummer Andrew Tolman met at Brigham Young University, and some of their songs, notably “Demons,” have decidedly Christian rock overtones, Imagine Dragons members say that you can’t shoehorn them into the Christian rock genre. They try to fit their music to what they’re feeling when they write it, but don’t make any overt references to any religion."

I didn't know that until I started looking up stuff about them the other day to see if their name really was an anagram, haha.

Haha yeah, I get a subtle religious vibe from them too, but it's not like overtly Christian. Open to interpretation, I guess. :P
Anyway, I am listening to:

Anyway, I am listening to:

Imagine Dragons aren't "with Satan". I mean, two of them are Mormon. (Awesome, right?)
"Demons" is about a bad past, or about how evil the world is getting:
"No matter what we breed, we still are made of greed"
"The ones we hail are the worst of all"
I am a true blue, full blood, through and through, 610% Mormon, and let me tell you, basically all of their songs have totally true messages ("Radioactive" excluded; I mean, zombies?) and some of their songs even make me think of passages of scripture I've read.
This is Helaman 13:37. "Behold, we are surrounded by demons, yea, we are encircled about by the angels of him who hath sought to destroy our souls. Behold, our iniquities are great. O Lord, canst thou not turn away thine anger from us? And this shall be your language in those days."
I take it that the song is referencing a man's sins, and how he regrets them.
This is Isaiah 9:16. "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed."
It's right there, in the Old Testament. "The ones we hail are the worst of all." And it's so true.
I cannot see how any of their music is Satanic. Say one song of Imagine Dragons and I will tell you how I interpret it.

You do know that we were being sarcastic, right? Although I guess there are people out there (who Brigid was quoting) that think they're Satanic, which doesn't make any sense.

Oh, I was being sarcastic, sorry :s I don't really think they're Satanic. I do enjoy some of their songs.

Yeah I was totally kidding. I don't actually think they're Satanic. :P Like Megan said, I was just quoting a comment I'd seen on that article about their name and making fun of it––not actually agreeing with it. I see how my comments could have been misunderstood, so sorry about that!
