Heh, I really like that song. I wasn't crazy about their new album but that one is cool. :)

I love you just for listening to this song."
It was on an 8tracks playlist I was listening to, and I kind of adored it. Whenever I listen to anything Regina Spektor, it reminds me of you. XD

Serge is def a classic. But man people give that Nelson album too much attention when his later L'homme a tete de chou is easily superior in all ways.

I've never really listened to Serge Gainsbourg (I guess it's just never interested me? - I don't tend to listen to many male vocalists), but I love love love yé-yé. France Gall, Sylvie Vardan, Annie Philippe, Françoise Hardy, and Jacqueline Taïeb are all important faves.

Ahhh I love Françoise Hardy! France Gall, as well. I've been meaning to find more artists, so I'll need to listen to those other ones you mentioned.
The Frisky Business - Let Go (Breakdown)
The bassist on this song is a woman named Johanna Vinson, and let me tell you, they do not call her Sister Lady Bass for nothing. I want her vocal cords.

The only real problem I have with listening to her music is that I lack the vocal agility to sing along with a violin...
