No but seriously I am so freaking excited about this concert it'll be so good. It's outdoors and it's just gonna be an entirely different atmosphere than what I'm used to. AHH.

I've seen St. Lucia and they were really good."
Their music sounds great! Since I have a lot of time and I've liked what I've listened to, I'm gonna try and really familiarize myself with the opening bands before going. :D

I'm finally listening through all of their new album. They were my favorite band for a really long time, so it's good to know I still like them. Also, Jen is singing so much more on this album, which makes me happy.

30 Seconds to Mars - Closer To The Edge
I just made myself a really long nostalgia playlist, and it's great. (And by "nostalgia" I mean songs from like 5+ years ago but yeah.)

Yes.
Also, 30stm is always good. I think I may need to listen to this playlist of yours.

Haha, well ... it's 400+ songs long. (I got a little carried away.) But I might put a more condensed version of it up on Spotify and/or 8tracks or something. :P
Edit: Okay so I ended up putting most of it on Spotify. So um, here it is.

Like, when they released Coming of Age for it, I was like...eh. But the album as a whole is great and I don't know why that song got picked as a single because there are some gems on here.

Since the beginning of Lent, I've given up secular music, listening only to church hymns.
These are a few of the hymns that I've been listening to:
Hymn of St. Kassiani by the Boston Byzantine Choir - I'll actually get to sing this during Holy Week this year by myself, so listening to this is great practice.
Living H2o - I discovered them last year when one of my friends played this CD for me. It's absolutely gorgeous. (My favorite track is either the Anaphora, for which the CD is named, or "Come, Bless the Lord." But all of them sound beautiful.)
And, finally, this EPIC Cherubic Hymn. It's all in Russian, but it's spectacular. My dad and I are in love with it.

Also she played LITERALLY ALL OF HER SONGS at her show...that was great.

@Colby - Ahhh dude that's so cool! Haha yeah her dancing is pretty strange ... but I love it. And that's awesome that she played all her songs (and that you got to be in the front row, whoaaa). :D
@Maddie - As Colby said, a lot of people in this group are pretty obsessed with her! I agree, those are all great songs. :) And I also love Florence + the Machine! She's pretty much my favorite singer ever. I recommend looking up Marina & the Diamonds if you haven't heard of her already; she's a pretty similar artist, and also awesome.
