Ah hahaha I used to be so into pop punk. (I mean I still like it but more as like a guilty pleasure thing I guess. XD) I was like so obsessed with Boys Like Girls when I was 16-17. Good tiiimes. This past summer they had a free concert in Boston but I missed it ... *Creyz*

Not at all, Sam! At least I don't think so.
Nah. Some of it is really beautiful. And although I haven't been listening to much Christmas music lately, I have been practicing it on the flute and singing it in church, so I get my fill that way. :P
I tend to like Christmas carols or hymns more than Christmas-themed pop music. For example, I adore O Come O Come Emmanuel and Sleep of the Child, but the less spiritual ones can be great for making you feel cozy and content.

The Civil Wars do a really good version of O Come O Come Emmanuel, without it being too overbearing and pop-like. Then again, their music isn't pop-like.

Out of all the music out there, I really just can't get into pop punk and I feel like the odd man out everywhere because everyone listens to it.

@EmilyI don't do pop punk either. I just can't get into it.
I only like certain groups in pop-punk- Fall Out Boy and Panic @ the Disco, and a few others. Otherwise, it's all so similar to me.

Yeah I have a super varied and kind of strange music taste. But variety is good, right? :D

I've only recently expanded my musical tastes. I was a music snob for a while, only listening to classical and swing, but now I like early rock and more open to classic rock. Pop punk, though, is just one genre I still haven't been able to get myself into.

I'm obsessed with them. Not just their music, even. Like, I've never obsessed over a band to this extent. Half of my tumblr dash is just their fan blogs, which is something I recommend. Tyler is just too freaking much for me to handle.
