I've been listening to this on repeat. I can't stop.
Help.

BECAUSE ALL OF THESE AMAZING THINGS ARE SUDDENLY HAPPENING CLOSE TO ME WHICH NEVER HAPPENS.
So basically I am dying of anticipation for tomorrow night right now and I keep having dreams in which I meet them on the street (which, I mean, since we're going early, that's a possibility. We walked right past Parachute's lead singer a couple hours before their concert at the same venue, sooo.) and I just want to actually talk to them so badly

Ooooh that would be so cool if you met them! :D I met a band the other week ... The Colourist. They were opening for The Naked and Famous (eeeee!) and anyway, they were really good and then they were just like standing around near the merch table after the show which was really cool and they were super nice. They're not really that well-known I guess, although I think they're going to be touring with Panic! at the Disco next, sooo they might become a big thing, I dunno. :P The moral of the story is, meeting bands is cool.

Except I'm listening to the version that I pitched down as a joke, so she sounds like an autotuned male gospel singer. Heehee.

In biology class.
In college.
This is not a joke."
Gotta love college.

We got in line at 4:30, two hours before doors opened, so we could try to be at the front of the stage. A worker for the venue came up to my friends, me, and these two awesome people I met in line and was like, "Hey, do you guys want to do the VIP meet & greet?" So of course we were like, "Ummm yes yes please let's do that." So we got to go upstairs to the balcony and they were like, "First you're going to meet with Robert DeLong (who was one of the openers and has kind of dubsteppy music) and then Twenty One Pilots will come up!" So we got our pictures taken with the opener and then TOP came up and did an acoustic set, Q&A, and pictures. I. Hugged. Tyler. Joseph. (And shook Josh Dun's hand, because he was like across from some people, haha.) So the acoustic set was fantastic and I got it all on camera, and we all got signed posters. Then we were led back outside but they were like, "Since you guys are VIPs, you can come into the concert ten minutes before everyone else." So my friend and I ran to the stage to beat the other 20-some VIPs there and we were right in the middle of the stage, so close we could reach out and grab the mic stand.
The openers were actually really great. One of them was this girl rapper named Sirah and she was fun and interacted with the crowd a lot. Robert DeLong was interesting but his set went on a little bit too long, IMO.
TOP were literally the best performers I have ever seen. They sound just as good live as they do in recordings and they have great crowd interaction. They actually put a drumset on a platform on top of the audience and send Josh out over the crowd. And also, all the backflips and stuff which you probably already know about if you know anything about them.
Anyways, I will stop rambling. The point of the story is I had like the best night and if you can ever go to a TOP concert, DO IT. Also, get to concerts super early because that was the best concert experience ever. *SCREAMING*

I'm pretty sure post-concert depression is a real thing. Every time I go to a concert there's like a while afterward feeling really sad like, "Omg nothing will ever be that awesome again."

Yeah, I don't personally have a picture, but this radio station that was sponsoring or something is going to post them on their facebook page sometime today. Also I am working on uploading a video of their acoustic set to Youtube.
I AGREE. It's like every single concert I've been to. And then there's a while where you feel like you can't listen to their music because it won't be as awesome as when they were actually there, singing it to you. GAH.

My voice teacher suggested I work on this song, and after looking up a few renditions and stuff, I'm freaked out. IT'S WAY TOO BIG FOR ME.

GAH I love this song. I've been listening to the above original version and the performance by Caroline Pennell from The Voice on repeat.
