Oh cool, I didn't know it was free on iTunes. I already have all their music, haha. And yeah, this is the first time I've met another person who knows of them. ;)

Pentatonix - Starships

I freaking HATE this song and I am NOT a Nicki Minaj fan, but they make it awesome. All the parts are so ridiculously complicated and at some points they truly sound like electronic instruments. (Extra points for using Mitch's name in place of a swear word. I love these guys.)

But I'm feeling 22,
Everything'll be alright if
You keep me next to yoooou!

I didn't like this song very much at first, but it's defintiely grown on me.

I love State of Grace and All Too Well. I do agree, though, I like her other albums better.

I love State of Grace, Begin Again and Everything Has Changed, but I miss country T-Swizzle :(

message 463: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Begin Again is my favorite on the CD. My favorite album by her is Speak Now, because it has all of my favorite tracks, including "Enchanted."

Listening to:

And We Danced -- The Hooters

Anyone else heard this song before?

I really like Enchanted! And also the song Speak Now, although the lyrics I'm not too sure about. Oh! And Sparks Fly. That's one of my favorites. Long Live, however, is probably my favorite song of hers ever.

message 466: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Long Live is beautiful. Try listening to Enchanted while imagining a girl whose boyfriend has passed away. Hazel introduced me to the song, and I always think of her and her first boyfriend whenever I listen to it.

nahh, i have a thing for '90s music. and this is pretty close to that.:)

message 470: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments I have a thing for…eh, anything that isn't crude. I like some of everything, to be honest. Though film scores have the highest success rate in my ear.

I only listen to crude music. Anything else is for squares.

message 472: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Ha. Some of what I listen to does have suggestive messages I wouldn't be comfortable sharing with little kids (The A Team by Ed Sheeran, por ejemplo). Just not a lot.

i'd say, "you're a square", but you'd probably hurt me or something if i did.
dangg i hate when people say stuff like that.

Well, I have now listened to the Ocarina of Time soundtrack all the way through from beginning to end. Wind Waker will take much longer. I miss actually being able to play these games

Saru (Queen of Bookland) (sarulovesbooks) | 3290 comments Warrior by Beth Crowley

She's this girl on YouTube who wrote this song based on The Mortal Instruments, and it's so FREAKING good! It NEEDS to be on the City of Bones movie soundtrack!

message 481: by [deleted user] (new)

Lindsey Stirling - Electric Daisy Violin

I love that she does the vocals on this song, not "just" the violin.

Now it changed to Lindsey Stirling - ZiZi's Journey. Haven't heard this one before. (In case you can't tell, I'm on a Lindsey Stirling kick and I got her album--along with two T-shirts and a keychain *squee*--in the mail this weekend.)
