changing avatar pic?

Hi I've changed my avatar pic from a book cover which in no longer in print to a photo, but the old image still appears when I post on forums. Is there any way to make the change consistent across goodreads?

This is a question for Goodreads Feedback group https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1 rather than Librarians. My only thought is that if the change is very recent, there could be caching issues slowing the change.

Emma, authors can have two distinct avatars. One is accessible from the author profile's edit link, and appears on the profile itself. The other is the user avatar, and is accessed the same way as for every other user -- from the edit profile page (link in the top right of every Goodreads page). That is the one that shows up on comments.

If that information is not helpful, I suggest posting in the Author Feedback Group, or you may wish to use the Contact Us link on the Help page. This is not an issue librarians can do anything about.
