I've added Beauty back in it's original spot, but with a different task, in honor of my beautiful Callie and all of our pets.

Beauty
There are so many beauty pageants that I won’t list them. I had deleted this, but decided to put it back with a different task, especially since otherwise there would be no category just for this task. And some of us have to be able to read these books!
Read a book with a beautiful animal on the cover.

***I've edited the mystery section by adding the following. It will apply to all awards starting with the Mystery section. I am too lazy and will never finish if I go back to prior sections.***

The task is to read a winning book (or other nominated book if on same list). If more than one list is in a linked site, then I'll indicate which list to use.

Under the genre title Science Fiction and Fantasy I have added the definitions of each. This may help some people who are thinking of trying something new.

For the Horror genre I've added two more lists for the Bram Stoker Award - one for Best First Novel and one for Best YA Novel.

***Clarification***

My wording of the task for an Emmy was incorrect. A rap on the knuckles for me. I've edited it now.

Emmy Award for Television
An Emmy Award recognizes excellence in the television industry.
Read a book that was made into a television show or made for tv movie (Game of Thrones follows the books), or has a show or movie based on the book (Bones is based on Kathy Reich's series but the only thing the same is that the main character is a forensic anthropologist).

I've just added the Edgar Awards to the Mystery section. It somehow didn't get copied earlier.

But it gives you another excuse to gopher. I saw someone asking about YA books and I thought I had another besides Alex. Well, I did but it didn't get posted. It's the Michael L. Printz Award.
Printz Award is posted. It's between Alex and RITA Romance :)
