My name is Carol Tietsworth and I am an experienced copy-editor as well as a trained proofreader. I choose to freelance and not join one of the editing sites so I can keep my fees low and help more beginning authors. I charge .003/word for proofreading, or .005/word for proofreading and copy-editing. I read, for enjoyment, 20-30 books a week, and also work full-time as a litigation paralegal, so I am meticulous.
