She was quite a person. How she maintained her strong character was revealed with her concerns that her children reach the highest levels of education. Having said this, I was pleasantly surprised by her intelligence with respect to her husband's business records.Of course, we did not know about how she met Reddington until the end of the story. I had hope at the end of the story that she and her three younger children would find happiness and some new horizons, geographically at the least.
I completely misjudged her, thinking initially that she was well aware of Reddington's side business and preferred living in ignorant bliss. By the end, I found her extraordinary, especially considering she'd developed these smarts all on her own since she'd been there since age fourteen. Sarah took huge risks because I think Reddington would have killed her if he'd discovered her aid to Raphael.
I agree. Reddington did not have any redeeming character traits that I could see. His idea of family having great value was not very deep.
Oh, it was all about him...having a family to adore him, a son to hand over the legacy and a wife to cater to his needs. There was nothing redeemable about this man as everyone around him was expendable.
Sarah was very admirable to me. At first, I thought she would turn Jamie and Raphael in when she found them trying to break into the computers. When the narration read that she didn't know anything about her husband business, I thought here we go again, another ignorant wife like with Skylar's uncle, but I was proven wrong. I felt sad for her as well once it was revealed she was kidnap and forced into that life, then having her kids, she had no other choice but to stay and protect them.
