Liz M 10.1 - Square peg: Read a book that does not fit any of the other Reading with Style 10 or 20-point tasks. This task cannot be repeated.

10.2 - In honor of Memory Day, March 21st, read a memoir/autobiography. Books must be shelved in the biography section of BPL.

10.3 - The plus: Read a book with a two-word title that begins with "The". For example, The Firm works, but The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court does not.

10.4 - In celebration of Irish American Month, read a book by an author who was born in Ireland.

10.5 - In honor of April’s Global Youth Service Day, read a book by an author that has received a Common Wealth Award in the literature category OR
In honor of World Press Freedom Day on May 3rd, read a book by a winner of the Jerusalem Prize.

10.6 - For the Ides of March:, read a book that is shelved as "murder" at least 5 times, but is not located in the Mystery section at BPL. So, The Lovely Bones (890 Lexile) works, but The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo does not work.

10.7 - Rebekah's task - Nurse it:
May 6th is National Nurses’ Day. Honor our nurses by reading a book about a realistic nurse or midwife. A nurse/midwife must be the primary character and of the medical variety, not a nursemaid or a wet nurse. No romance novels will be accepted for this task. Non-fiction suggestions, Fiction ideas

10.8 - Rosemary's task - Spell it out:
Read a book by an author whose first and last initials can be found consecutively (forwards or backwards) in the words "March April May": MA, AR, RC, CH, AP, PR, RI, IL, AY, YA, LI, IR, RP, PA, HC, CR, RA, AM.

10.9 - Anika's task - Time for Dinner:
Choose a book from the top 30 of the Nouvelle Cuisine list, the top 50 from the Food-Related Fiction list, OR the top 100 from the Food-Related Non-Fiction list.

10.10 - Group reads

Liz M 20.1 - In honor of Jane Austen, read a book by an author who lived during her lifetime (1776-1817).

20.2 - In honor of Sense and Sensibility, read a book that was made into a TV series or
movie by BBC. Please provide a link when posting this task.

20.3 - In honor of Pride & Prejudice, one of the most beloved books of all time, read a book that has more than 100,000 ratings and an average rating over 3.99.

20.4 - In honor of Mansfield Park, read a book about the hardscrabble life (top 25) or the underclass (top 50).

20.5 - In honor of Emma, read a book written by a woman with a single female narrator/main character.

20.6 - In honor of Northanger Abbey, read a parody or a book by one of these satirists.

20.7 - In honor of Persuasion, read a novel that was published posthumously.

20.8 - Joanna's task - Presidentially:
In honor of Harry S Truman's birthday on May 8, read a book with Harry or Truman in the author's name
OR read a nonfiction book about Truman or one of these three major issues from his presidency: the atomic bomb, the Korean war, or the formation of the nation of Israel. Non-fiction books should be approved before claiming points in the completed task thread.

20.9 - Kate's Task - Heretically
In recognition of the difficulties faced by the pope, read a book listed on Index Librorum Prohibitorum. If specific works are mentioned, they are the only ones qualified. When an author is listed without a specific work, any work by that author will qualify for this task.

20.10 - Elizabeth (Alaska) task - Initially:
Read a book by an author whose given names are usually published as initials only. Examples: V.S. Naipaul, T.C. Boyle, T.S. Eliot.
