I'm on page 54. I really don't like it. The plot is just staying in one place. Quite frankly, I can't connect or empathize with Georgie enough to care about WHAT happened in her life. :(
I have finished this, I didn't really enjoy the first 3 quarters of the book but the last quarter was sweet.
I finished this yesterday. Overall, it wasn't that amazing of a read. I think everyone agrees with me on that point. But I could see that Rainbow was trying to make a point about life, and I applaud her for that. However, I didn't really agree with the whole 'hope' thing. Some of it rang true, and some of it seemed like complete baloney.
P.S. That scene where she was trying to get to the house, and that teenage couple helped her out... LOL. It was the only funny part in the entire book! Well, apart from when she named the pugs 'Sweaty' and 'The One Who Looks A Bit Like a Brick'. :)
Is this book worth the read? Was debating on whether or not to read it. I've read
and really liked it...
Sarah, I gave it 3 stars when I read it and I see others in this group also gave it 3 stars. I honestly didn't care for it too much.
