I really don't ever read scary books so I had to ask my friend who loves everything horror for a recommendation. She suggested this book because it really freaked her out.

I didn't find this book to be that scary. I did find it to be very disturbing and uncomfortable, it wasn't a believable read for me. I honestly thought she was just going to turn out crazy and imagining it all. I had to force myself to finish which is never fun. I'm glad I took the chance to read a book outside the normal genres that I read though.
