Series Help - Gateway to Love

Hey Rivka!

Can you provide a link to a GRs policy that someone mentioned to me regarding numbering a series. They indicated that GRs has a (newish?) policy now about numbering a series and if an author has novellas they are not given whole numbers in the series regardless if the author has them set up that way on their websites. They are given decimals book numbering. As I have done a lot of librarian tasks in the past and numbered series based on how an author has them set up, this was an eye opener for me to hear.

Just want to clarify that GRs has a policy on this and if so, where it is written so we are all on the same page (I couldn't resist that one).

Whenever someone throws a rule/policy at me as a standard, I like to see it for myself whether it be here or elsewhere in life. :-)
