When I read a book I always have a favorite character, and reading shatter me made it hard for me to pick a favorite character, and my final thoughts after reading this were that the book is just so dark, that there isn't a real funny character, which is really sad, because I like funny characters, which kinda made me aware of how sad this book really is. And if I had to pick a favorite character it would be Adam or Warner. And I know what your thinking....WARNER???!!!!! But Warner is just so cool and awesome and when he's honest it hilarious!!! I mean This is my Favorite Part.... (page 111)..."well your the murderer,"I tell him. "so you must be right."His smile is laced with dynamite. "go to sleep." "go to hell."
He works his jaw. Walks to the door. "I'm working on it."
.......OH COMMON, WHO COULD NOT CRACK UP AT THAT BESIDES THE MASTER OF THE TRY NOT TO LAUGH VINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha yeah I have to admit I am a Warner fan too! I seem to have a thing for the dark and (criminally) dangerous types e.g. The Darkling, Seth from the covenant series etcI just thought Warner's character was incredibly interesting., and I felt the same about Juliette
You're right, it was pretty heavy and serious, but at the same time I think it was that intensity that kept me turning the pages!

You won't be disappointed. I will just leave this here and walk away...
I honestly really loved Shatter Me. I thought the writing was amazing, Juliette was an amazing point of view to read from, Warner is a creepy, obsessed man but is such an interesting and thrilling antagonist that I want to learn more about. I think Adam is a bit too good to be true, I can't connect with him...
I was s shocked at how fast the book went. in one sitting I read 80%! that's insaaaane!!!!
I'm so excited to read the next book.
