I've read the Hobbit once, and though it's 4 star material, it didn't have rereading appeal for me. There's a question that I've seen someone post on IMDB..."Did Tolkien copy the basic plot from The Hobbit when he wrote The Lord of the Rings?. The original poster from IMDB posted 26 similarities between the two books. Maybe this info is familiar with the fans, I don't have a clue. What do you think about it?
Hello frnds, just wanted to give some thought..First of all, its very different the LOTR.. but as it some how realted...
Hobbit is mainly the story if Biblo when he went with the dwarf's to get back their kingdom.. and main battle also includes here..
where as LOTR.. is story of Frodo Baggins (Biblo's grandson).
Second of all, its nice book.. well written.. and nice twist and u will like most of the parts.. the fights the talks..
I think that dissimilar books can share a lot of common ground that would be unnoticed for many readers. Just like two songs may sound totally different, yet they may share the same chord progressions.
