Yoga book you're eager to read this summer?

I really enjoyed Kate Bishop's "Breathe" - perhaps I'll pull that up on the Kindle again while I'm poolside this summer.
And not to wish all the nice weather away, but I'm happy to report that "Softer Than Steel" (my rock and roll yoga love story, as I like to call it) will release in September. Finally! It's been quite a few years in the making.

I recently read "Yoga and Body Image: 25 Personal Stories About Beauty, Bravery, and Loving Your Body."
It was a great read and I highly recommend it to all yogis and anyone who has ever had body image issues.

Thanks for the recommendations. There's also a new memoir by Colleen Saidman Yee that could be good.

Hell-Bent: Obsession, Pain, and the Search for Something Like Transcendence in Competitive Yoga
But I own Poser and that would be easier to grab.
Poser: My Life in Twenty-three Yoga Poses
But these are older releases.

That does look good, Michelle! Thanks for mentioning it. We hear so much about the men who helped popularize yoga in the West but not much about the women. Will you let us know what you think if you get to it before the rest of us?
I learned about Indra Davi in the excellent yoga history book The Subtle Body. She was quite the character. A whole book on her could be great.

Gladly, but it doesn't even become available until June 9!

I haven't read this--it just came out, but someone told me this new yoga/adoption memoir set in Japan is terrific.
It's called Here Comes the Sun

I'm hoping to reread Yoga Bitch. I loved it the first time and could use a good laugh!
Please share what you're planning poolside.
