Any other thoughts or comments? Your overall opinion of the story?

This was one of my favorite installments in the series. I loved the politics and the developments in Merit and Ethan's relationship.

I pretty much liked everything about it, too, especially the subterfuge and spies.

I really enjoyed this one too! I love vampire politics. Lol!

One thing that I wondered about was why Noah handed over complete responsibility for the missing rogues to Ethan and Merit. I thought it was odd that he wouldn't be more involved in resolving what happened to 'his' vampires. Not a major issue but something that stood out to me a bit.

That's a really good question, Erin. I just took it for granted that Noah was OK with Merit and Jonah dealing with it because they are both in the RG.

It occurred to me, too, but I thought the same as Lauren eventually.

This was one of my favorites in the series. Like everyone else, I like the vampire politics.

I think it's my favorite to date, too. If not for the Lacey nonsense, I would have rated it higher.
