Merit and Mallory took their first steps in rebuilding their relationship. Your thoughts?

Making a growling noise in the back of my throat on this one.

This is one plot line that really annoys me!

I'm not ready to reunite with Mallory, either. If she's coming back into the picture, I want to see a much different Mallory.

I'm still not a Mallory fan. I don't feel like we've been given sufficient reason to forgive her behavior. Catcher is losing a lot of ground with me too. I would've enjoyed the book just as much without having them in it at all.

I don't like Mallory. I keep hoping she needs to move to Europe for some intense Sorcerer training and is written out of the series. Too much to hope for?

Nope, you've every right to hope:) I just don't think O'Neill understands readers' feelings about this character. She betrayed Merit and Catcher inexplicably and I don't see her earning her way back.

Maybe she's biding her time making Merit and Catcher believe she's healing when she really is plotting to take over Chicago??? I could get into her being the big bad and them bringing her down.
