Lacey's machinations were so obvious and really made her come across as pathetic. She was never a real threat as Ethan's feelings for Merit are only getting stronger despite their differences in this one.
I hated that Merit let her get to her. I suppose it's only natural but I wanted her to feel more confident in Ethan's feelings and smirk Lacey to the curb.
I sympathized with Merit here. I wouldn't have liked having someone so overtly into my man around either. Lacey is like a dog with a bone when it comes to Ethan and although I had faith in Ethan I could completely understand how it all got to Merit.

I especially loved Ethan's unashamed affection toward Merit.
