As Ethan and the rest of Cadogen House prepare for their excommunication from the GP, they discover that Peter Cadogen signed a pretty generous contract with them. Were you surprised that he would have ceded so much of his assets to the GP? Are you convinced that he really did and there's more to the story?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments The impression I have of Peter is someone who is more civilized and refined than Ethan. I could definitely see him giving in to the GP in order to remain diplomatic.

Erin (erin36) | 113 comments I thought this was a bit odd. It felt to me like an under supported plot point that was conveniently placed to move the story in the right direction. What I wonder though is if the other Houses all have the same types of agreements with the GP. If they do then I could buy that it was just SOP for dealing with the GP. It didn't bother me deeply or anything. I just wondered about it.

To give the GP all the profits since the date of membership was outrageous. It made no sense. That's a good question, Erin, re the other house's contracts.

I think that it was a standard contract for the "protection" offered by the GP. Total rip off!

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I agree Lauren. All of the houses probably have the same contract with the GP for their protection. Kind of feels like a mafia tactic.

"La Familia" - we all know just how fair that situation is!
