Emily's grandparents sound like awful people and completely understand why Meg and Eli didn't want them in her life. I definitely don't think they should have kept things from Emily the way they did, but can understand what they were probably thinking. I found that I did end up liking the romance between Emily and Oz, but only after about 60% through. (hide spoiler)]

Finished ! I ate this story up. It was such a guilty pleasure. It felt like I was reliving Sons of Anarchy but in book form (I now feel inspired to re-watch that series :P) (view spoiler)[Oz and Emily's love story was soo cute. I loved Oz and his bad arse/good guy ways. I loved the family mystery and seeing the secrets between Meg and Eli unfold. I was so shocked when I found out the Riot were related to Meg. I loved the relationship between Eli and Emily and hope that it eventuates even more in the next few books.
