(view spoiler)[ It got much, much better toward the end. The secrets finally came out! I wasn't expecting Emily's hysterical mother to be the daughter of the rival club's boss... And, thankfully, Emily got a little less fragile, all her panic attacks were annoying. I mean, if she is that anxious or has that many panic attacks, shouldn't be on meds and therapy? Oz was really, really sweet, though, I liked him. Though the way the author kept describing a 17-year old boy as ripped and all, was too much. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ got to admit the whole inviting someone to a funeral or well fake funeral was a little out there and weird! totally understand how it all got muddled up, ok Emily I get is scared of everything, like even her own shadow? Seriously a few panic attacks are fine but gradually you'd find some courage from somewhere and I'd definitely have more anger towards my mother if I'd had a photo to prove my mum was lying to me I'd be less inclined to be scared of hurting her and more inclined to find out the truth.
I love the sexual tension between oz and Emily but it was a little insta love kinda attraction after seeing each other at the funeral her literally manipulating him by kissing him a complete stranger... Meh (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I actually found the ending to be somewheat predictable and way too cliché. I agree about her panicatticks. Those definitely aren't fun, but when it's as bad as hers, yeah, therapy or medication is definitely needed.

(view spoiler)[ watching Emily and oz blow hot and cold on one another feels like I'm on a pendulum swing! they're good then bad then ignoring then all over admittedly though that makes it kind of intriguing to read more and they seem more relatable as teenagers because of that but like Emily it would have annoyed me if oz didn't answer my questions about my own mum. Olivia dying was sad but I think it would have been nicer to have more emphasis on that and how the club dealt with it together rather than the little snippet that she was now cremated. Emily and Oz finally ending up together, wasn't really much of a surprise seeing as the book was leading that throughout. It's a shame that Emily backed down when holding the gun just because Oz said so, I don't like that. She seems really strong at points and then just does what she's told anyway so kind of a wimp. I'm glad I read it and the outcome was nice.
