Kaylee May (ninjafox) | 10 comments I have most recently read the entire Sword of Truth series. I feel as though my whole world was shattered and put together in a whole new way.I feel as though I now live my life through morals and ideals that came purely from this book.

I'm not 100% positive that this is normal. If anyone else has anything to say about this at all, id be much appreciated.

Kaylee May (ninjafox) | 10 comments It is. Since reading the book I compare real life events to those in the book. Or I think what would Richard have done?

Harry | 5 comments My fav character is Cara and then nicci! I feel without a strong supporting cast the books wouldn't be nearly as good!!

I agree. I always liked Cara, she seemed super badass from the beginning. I hated Nicci at the beginning though. Towards the end, she kinda grew on me.

AndrewP (andrewca) | 67 comments I think that is a normal reaction after complete a major series like this. You get so caught up in the world and the characters that it's sad to leave.

Andrew | 15 comments I agree that the series was amazing and I think it ended so very well. I am however a bit depressed at the sequel series that seems to be undoing much of the good work of the original series

It was very sad. But I felt like my view changed for the better.

What is the sequel series?

message 12: by Andrew (new)

Andrew | 15 comments It starts with the Omen Machine and then the Third Kingdom. Its called the Richard and Kalahan books I think.

Andrea Yeah the series does things with you. For the sequel books, it's a bit sad they're just not as good as the series so they're a bit dissapointing. Except for The First Confessor, I really loved that one because it's not about Richard and Kahlan and gives so much background information about their world.

Thanks! I'm gonna have to read these now.

Is this one better than the Sword of Truth series or is it just okay?

message 19: by Leanne (new)

Leanne I had that feeling when reading the series! I read them for the first time as a teenager and I feel that they made me a better person. I've read them countless times and I sometimes wonder what my life would be without them!
