I saw this book on a table in a bookstore and loved the concept of my favorite fictional characters matched up against one another. I have read a number of stories about Cotton Malone, Jack Reacher, Harry Bosch, Alexandra Cooper, and Lucas Davenport -- and this book featured them all in one place! Each story, 11 in total, put two of my favorite characters together to solve (or prevent) a crime.

The best part about the book was that I could read 1 or 2 stories in one sitting and then pick up again later on, not having missed anything.

I also read about new characters whom I'd like to check out. This collection was a great way to be introduced to other fictional heroes. If you're looking for something fun, definitely consider this. There are also several other collections like this which precede this one, all edited by thriller writers. I'll definitely be checking them out as well.
