What did you think about how the case ended, with no one being charged for the deaths of Tommy Deaton and Toby Masterson? Was this simply "just rewards" or a terrible injustice?

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments A little of both, but it would have been hard to pin the murders on just one person.

There's a part of me that thinks "just rewards" but I can't condone vigilante justice. And, Toby didn't deserve this.

Tracey (trakka) | 407 comments I was really disappointed with the ending. I felt that the writers ran out of steam and didn't know how to deal with the controversial topics. I kept looking at my book and thinking how are they going to wrap this up in such a few pages. I agree Jonetta, Toby deserved justice. I also cannot condone vigilante justice. There was actually a part where Magozzi said it was the law enforcement's job and no one else's to protect the victims. I know this doesn't always work but allowing people to deal with it themselves causes more problems, IMO.

Well said, Tracey. Magozzi was the voice of reason in this story.
