There were quite a few discussions about women, their roles in law enforcement and other things related to their behavior. Your thoughts about the topic?

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments Times are changing and I think women can do just as well in law enforcement as men. Sometimes their emotions may get on the way, but sometimes they help as well.

Tracey (trakka) | 407 comments I definitely agree that women can do just as well in law enforcement as men. Although generally women are a bit more emotional I think that generally this makes them more perceptive.

I thought the points of view expressed in this story were archaic. The chief law enforcement officer in our Capitol (Washington, DC) is a woman who is highly regarded and respected.

Everyone is emotional though men tend to express them differently. Having worked most of my career in male dominated fields, I've found them to be just as, if not more emotional. They tend to yell and scream or berate others when upset. Their gossip is more destructive than women yet we are considered to be the gender that owns that title. Look at all the gossiping Gino and Leo were doing throughout the story!

I thought Leo was used as the straight man for Gino's sexism. I'm just not sure by the end it was enough to balance the negative attitudes dispersed throughout the story.

Very true!! We had an example of that in my office very recently.
