She pulled his coat tighter around herself, shivering under its weight. It snelled bice, he ysed the same colone as her father, it was a comforting snell.

Tobias went into the drivers side and turned the heat up higher," Where were you going?" He asked
"Emily stay awake at least for another five minutes."
She whimpered a bit in frustration but nodded in agreement, pulling her legs up to her chest under his coat.
He watched her as he drove them as quickly as he could back to his hoisen
Emily sighed tiredly, watching the scenery rush by the car,
Tobias pulled into his driveway and looked over at her," Once you are in different clothes you can go to sleep." He told her
She nodded softly "alright " she agreed in a whisper.
He turned the car off and got out then went to help her out of the car
Emily sighed softly as she was helped out, looking around slowly at her surroundings. "Your yard is big." she whispered softly, only partially awake and aware what was going on. "you have a dog?" she asked softly, looking up at Tobias.
Tobias just scooped her up into his arms as he pushed the door closed with his hip," yes I know," he replied softly," actually I have two." He told her," but they are very nice and love people."
Emily nodded, leaning her head in the older man's shoulder, breathing softly against his skin, still obssessing over his scent, as wrong as that would be to admit. "What am I supossed to change into?" She whispered with a blush.
Tobias walked g into his house and shut the door as two smallish pit bulls came running down the stairs. He chuckled softly," both of you stop." He said then looked down at Emily," I have something." He said walking to a small closet and opened the door," Pick what you want." He told her softly. He had just a few different girls clothes
She seemed confused but reached her hand out, touching a nightgown made with what seemed to be silk. "This is a pretty shade of pink." She murmered before turning slightly to the side and sneezing quietly, whimpering as it brought the dogs running at attention again.
He nodded slightly," okay pull it off the hanger and I'll put you in the bathroom so you can take a bath." Toby said softly. "Keely and Harley go sit." He told the two dogs and they obeyed
Emily softly tugged at the nightgown, watching as it easily slid off the hanger and draped ovee her small hand. "You are going toblet me take a bath?" She asked, tilting her head a bit. "But Im just a student youbpivked up off the street. She could feel her uniform cinstricting around her as it began to dry slowly.
He nodded walking to the downstairs bathroom," yes I am.. You are still freezing and making you sit in a warm bath will help." He told her gently setting her down on the sink," no you aren't you are one of the best students I have and if anything happened to you I would be very upset."
She blushed as she looked away. "Mr.East." she whispered quietly. "D....donyou have anything to eat?" She asked, her voice a soft whisper. She hated to ask but she had not eaten since lunch at school. She looked down, playing with her fingers as she kicked one of her feet that dangled from the sink.
Tobias looked over at her and frowned slightly," of course I have something to way.. What would you like?" He asked after turning on the bath. "I'll make you something while you get cleaned up and warm."He told her
"Anything is okay." She said softly. "Maybe soup?" She asked, staring down at her lap.
"Okay what kind of soup?" He asked turning the water off
She shook her head. "Doenst matter." She whispered quietly. "Anything is fine with me, I am just hungry."
"Okay fine I'll go make dinner while you get warm and out better clothes on." He told her moving out of the bathroom," You should find everything you need."
Emily nodded, waiting for yhe door to close before slipping down, dropping his heavy jacket and slowly peeling the wet clothes from her body. She walked over to the tub. Still shivering as she put her foot in, jumping at the warm tekprature before slowly leting herself climb in the rest of the way, sinking into the warmth.
Tobias went into the kitchen and started making them some soup. He was just making a simple vegetable soup for the two of them
Emily waded it the water before looking around slowly, picking things to watsh herself, inclusing the wash rag he had left on the sode of the tub. She had tomadmot it was strange being in her teacher's bathroom, though it was better then passing out in the snow.
Tobias looked towards the door for a little bit and then sat on the floor and let the two dogs jump all over him like he always did when he was frustrated or something
((Im so sorry about all my typos))Emily looled around before standing up out of the water and reaching for the soft towel to the side, wrapping it around herself and using anouther for the mess of blond hair that fell down her back. She walked over to the mirror, looking over her arms, running a hand over the scratches before drying off and putting on the nightgown, staring at herself in the body length mirror for a long moment. "Pretty" she said aloud before picking up a brush from the counter, frowing as she looked it over before starting on her hair which would take a good ten minutes or so.
Tobias let their food cook while she was still in the bathroom. Keely walked over to the door a few times and waited for Emily to come back out while Harley just pounced around and played with Toby
Emily cleaned out the brush before placing it down and opening the door, panicking a bit when she saw the dog waiting for her, she wasnr big. But at the same time she was never really around dogs when she was younger.
Keely looking at her like she wanted to play. "Keely leave her alone." Toby called hearing the door open. "Harley stay." He said getting up," it's okay Emily I promise they won't hurt you."
She nodded, inching away slolwy beofre hiding behind her teacher, peeking out at the happy dogs. "Mama wpulnd never let us get a dog." She whispered softly.
He smiled a little bit as she hid behind him," really? I've almost always had at least one dog." He told her. "They just want to say hi."
She shook her head, softly grabbing at his shirt as she mived behind him more. "What if they knock me down?" She whispered softly.
"They won't jump on you they know better but here Harley is gentle... She will just sit and lick your hand." He said reaching behind him for her hand
Emily whimpered but complied, holding out her hand and letting him take it for the dog to sniff.
Tobias put his other arm around her as Harley just sniffed her hand," See no jumping. " he said softly," They just want to see if you are going to be nice to them
She nodded quietly, watching as the dog sniffed her over. "It tickles." She whispered softly, moving slowly and caustiously to pet Harley on top of her head. "Are they both girls?"
Tobias smiled a little bit," yeah I know." He replied with a softly chuckle. "They are.. This one is Harley and the one who is patiently sitting over there is keely." He said as Harley wagged her tail happily
She nodded slowly before standing slowly and looking around. "Your house is nice." she whispered softly.
He nodded," yeah I know it is.. I've been thinking about selling it and getting something smaller." He said softly as Keely nudged his hand a little bit
Emily tilted her head. "Why is that?" she asked softly. "It seems really nice here, and the atmosphere is very welcoming." She gave a gentle smile. "I am sure the yard is lovely as well, when everything is not 2 feet under snow."
Tobias looked at her." I think that it's a little too big for just me and Harley and Keely." He replied looking at her. "I mean I love it here but I don't know right now." He said softly
She nodded before looking towards the kitchen. "The food smells nice." she whispered, mostly to herself. "is it almost ready?"
He chuckled softly," sure if is.. Come on let's go check on it." He replied
Emily followed close behind, looking around the kitchen as they entered. "What kind did you make?" she asked softly. "it really does smell incredibly good."
Tobias smiled and looked back at her,"I just made a simple vegetable soup." He replied looking at her," It does smell good.. Do you want anything to go with it?"
She thought a long moment "Just bread should be fine." she whispered softly.
"Okay well i have some bread from the bakery down the street it's in that cupboard right there."'he said pointing," would you get it so I can put the soup in bowls?"
