Did you enjoy the book? Yes!
Do you come from a family where people like reading? My mom and one brother and I love reading. My dad and other brother don't like it as much as we do.

Snowman by Jo Nesbø
Did you enjoy the book?
Yes, I enjoyed it a lot. My mom and I have similar taste in books so wasn't nervous and just picked one of many books she recently recommended.
Do you come from a family where people like reading?
Yes. Both my parents love to read and my grandmother is the biggest book lover I know. On the other hand, my brother never picks up a book. Neither does my cousins.

Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good
Did you enjoy the book?
Yes, I enjoyed it very much. I'm sad to see the series end.
Do you come from a family where people like reading?
Yes, both of my parents and my sister and my in-laws are/were readers.

Did you enjoy the book?
More than I expected to but not a lot.
Do you come from a family where people like reading?
Some of them generally do. My Mum does, both my sisters do and my nan and granddad like reading. One of my cousins (who's also my friend) likes reading as well. My Dad doesn't do a lot of reading and I'm not too sure about the rest of my family.

The Red Tent by Anita Diamant
Did you enjoy the book?
I sure did. I am pretty sure I will be buying this book now so that I can re-read it when ever I want to!
Do you come from a family where people like reading?
Yep sure did. I grew up taking almost weekly trips to the library with my grandparents and spending hours there hunting for more books to read.

Watchers by Dean Koontz
Did you enjoy the book?
Very much so! It is one I will read again for sure!
Do you come from a family where people like reading?
Yes! My dad loves to read and my mom doesn't read as much as she used to but was a big reader when she was younger. My sister also would read all the time. :)
What did you read this week?
I read The Hook (a thriller), after putting away the 1st book my mom gave me (it's a journal, I'll try to continue it, maybe it's better later).
Did you enjoy the book?
Yes, it was really entertaining and I liked the social topics behind the thriller. I'm not really a thriller reader, so I'm surprise I enjoyed this one a lot.
Do you come from a family where people like reading?
Yes, but we have very different tastes, my dad likes SF and history, my mom usually reads fiction and thrillers.

I read Timbuktu by Paul Auster I think this is the sort of book my Dad would enjoy.
Did you enjoy the book? I had nothing to complain about...a quick, easy, enjoyable read from a dog's point of view. But I'm not sure about why it is on the 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die list.
Do you come from a family where people like reading? Some do, some don't.

Did you enjoy the book? It was ok. I enjoyed it a little more than I'd expected, but it's not a genre I particularly enjoy.
Do you come from a family where people like reading? Not really. I remember my grandfather used to read little paperback Westerns, and my mother reads the Scarpetta books (hence my choice for this week). I don't remember being read to as a child, and I missed out on pretty much all of the childhood classics as an actual child. But somehow I ended up a complete bookworm, and my daughter (now 6) loves books & being read to. So I'm discovering the childhood classics together with her, which is nice. :)

Did you enjoy the book? Not really. It was too hyped up.
Do you come from a family where people like reading? Only my grandfather liked to read. I actually picked one of the few books my mom has read.

La tía Tula (Aunt Tula) by Miguel de Unamuno
Did you enjoy the book?Yes, but it was a re-read to me
