"Mornin." She smiled and sat on his lap. "Leave her alone!" He roared, trying to keep them away from her.

Carter smiled and held her as she ate
(Oh Ally :P) "Get off her!" He yelled, tackling the man.
She smiled and leaned her head into his chest.
Mary dropped into her knees . The cut wasn't deep but it sure hurt. She kicked at the second man and got in fighting stance. She did about ten consecutive punches before she knocked the man out cold
Carter smiled and kissed her forehead"What would you say if I told you I love you?"
He watched her impressed and then punched the other, knocking him out with one swing. (Gtg.)
KkMary stumbled and felt the warm blood gushing from her throat.
"Holy shit"she breathed

Mary passed out and woke a few different times(skip to later)
Mary's eyes flittered open"k-kade?"she croaked
"Thank God your okay." He mumbled, squeezing her hand.
Mary held his hand tight. "I'm fine "she croaked lamely
Carter sighed nervously"what would you say if I told you I was falling in love with you?"
"You will be better... Soon. I promise." Although he was worried, he hid it well. Kade looked awful. He had a black swollen eye, a broken nose a d some bruised on his neck. "I reply I love you too." She beamed. Maddie actually said that quietly, but meaningly.
Mary reached up and brushed her fingertips across his black eyes"put ice on it . Please"she whispered
Carter grinned
"then I have something to tell you"
"I have. I'll be okay." He said gently. Maddie giggled and smiled,"What?"
Mary looked at his bruises and bit her lip nervously"I love you"he whispered in her ear
He saw her looks,"Don't worry about me... Really." A shiver ran down her spine; a good one. Maddie looked in his eyes."I love you too."
She closed her eyes"too late"she said softly and gave a small smile
Carter kissed the tip of her nose. He smiled and held her tight
He laughed softly and kissed her hand. She smiled and hugged him tightly.
Mary felt her throat throbb . "how many stitches?"she asked as she felt the knots of the stitches even thought she wasnt supposed to be touching the stiches yet
"Don't touch those." He said stiffly."Erm I think 26?"
Mary pulled her hand away and sighed"why did they come for me?"
Carter hummed a love song wih his deep smooth voice
"I don't know..." He said softly, biting his lip. She closed her eyes, listening
Carter rubbed her back as he sang. He closed his eyes as well .
Well we can skip some time for Mary and made to when they are both a little better. I don't know for carted and maddie

Mary looked at her scar in the mirror and sighed. She hated the jagged line that ran across her neck .
Mary came downstairs and kissed his forehead"morning."she said . She always wore scarfs to cover the scar.
mary started cooking and she handed him a plate smiling. he had seemed kind of upset scince the hospital but she always kept trying to cheer him up
Maryfelt horrid but she didn't show it"better"she lied
"ok fine. i feel like crap but ill be ok. how about you'
she smiled small."im fine!"she protested
He raised his eyebrows and then kissed her temple
she smiled for real and held his hand"thank you"
