(Sure!)Mary blushed again and looked back at the floor
Carter kissed her
"I'll be back in about two hours"
"How about we go for a walk?" He asleep after a long awkward silence. She nodded, thinking of how she was going to surprise him.
Mary nodded"Alright."she said softly . Her heart was beating like a humming bird
Carter bit his lip
" call me if you need anything. Alright?"
He smiled."Don't be nervous." Kade winked. Maddie nodded, getting slightly nervous.
Mary smiled and walked next to him starting to chill.Carter kissed her cheek and handed her a phone.
"It's yours"
He smiled and led her outside. She was speechless but muttered a thanks.
Mary let the sun set on his face and she smiled at the sky.Carter smiled
"My number is the first in speed dial ok? I'll see you later"
She nodded."Alright." Maddie observed the phone approvingly. His smile glistened, as did his skin. Kade shut the door behind them and kept on walking.
Mary had to walk a little fast to keep up with his long strides.Cater smiled and left reluctantly
Maddie sighed, looking around the house. She got to work. He tried slowing down, so she wouldn't have to practically jog.
Carter s father parked in the drive way about an hour.Mary blushed
"Sorry!"she said softly
She looked out the window slightly worried. Maddie began working, wondering who that was. "No worries." He laughed.
Mary smiled softly"thanks ."she said out of no where
Carter's father walked in
"carter?"
"He's not here. He had to go, for awhile." Maddie walked over, drying some dishes.
Mary looked around"this is a beautiful block"she said
Carter's father grinned
"and you are?"
((Sorry...)) Kade looked confused. "For what?"
She smiled softly, setting the fish down on a table. Maddie stuck her hand out to shake."Maddie."
Carters father nodded and didn't shake her hand instead he sat down and studied her."new servant?"
Mary blushed
"being nice to me"
Maddie grabbed the dish again, turning to the sink."Yes." He smiled warmly."Anytime."
Carter watched mad dies butt as she turned and shrugged" I'm Kirk . When will carter be back?" He asked
Mary smiled at him her blue eyes glinting in the sunlight
He smiled back, walking more slower.She shrugged."Who knows? He didn't let me know."
Mary smiled and giggled "So where you born here?"
Kirk stood and came over to her .
" your pretty bold for a slave"
"Yes, you?" He asked, smirking. Neighbors watched, getting skeptical. She smiled and then it faded."Bold..?"
Mary shrugged" Britain . London so no"
Kirk chuckled ." So where does carter keep his drinks"
He nodded."Cool." "Erm, I think the Wine Fridge is downstairs..."
*not so cool when your on the streets*she thought to herself" out of curiosity, why are you nice to slaves?"
Kirk when downstairs and came up about an hour later. Drunk.
"I'm not sure. Guess I'm just not... That mean guy ya know?" Maddie sighed. She had finished the house and was sitting down, unaware of what was going on.
Kirk stumbled over and stopped looking at her. He looked around and frowned "call this clean?"he slurred
Mary smiled small and looked up at him
"ya I know"
"Oh gosh..." Maddie knew drunk. She walked over to him, going to sit him down.
Kirk grabbed her arm when she got close . His grip was like iron around her forearmMary blushed
"no problem. "she said feeling like a bird that just started flying
Mary smiled at the sky again"ok"she said
Kirk slapped her face.
"you talk when I say ya can talk"he slurred
She yelped out, tears welling in her eyes. Maddie reached desperately for the phone. He turned around,"All I need help with at home is you organizing the basement. I'll do the rest."
Mary nodded"alright. Are you sure you don't want me to do the rest?"
Kirk let go of her arm spotting some alcohol in an open cuppord
Maddie ran outside, quickly calling Carter."Your dads here and he's drunk... He's hurt me too... Come home!"
Carters eyes widened"I'm coming . Get away from him he's extremely dangerous" he said and started driving way to fast to his house.
She stayed outside, rubbing her arm then cheek.
Carter parked and ran to her"Are you ok? Where did her hurt you?"
