Maddie huddled in the corner, hoping not be found. She was at the slaves market. Kade walked in, a cruel smile on his face.
Emily struggled and fought agenst the officers as they threw. Her into a bared cage at the slave market. She spit at one. Carter walked in. He hated it here. It was always full of crying slaves .
He saw one struggling. "HMM... A tough one." Kade grinnedShe breathed heavily, closing he eyes tightly.
Emily manages to untie the ropes around her wrist and she looked around searching for a way out.Carter saw one that seemed neither , sassy nor wimpy.
He slowly approached the cage... She opened her eyes sighing, not looking out of the cage, just down.
Emily saw someone walking over and glared at him. She saw a guard walk by and she reached through the bars and hooked his eys off his belt. The guard didn't noticCarter knelt by her cage
"What's your name?" He asked gently
He snapped his head her way."I'll take her." Kade growled, pointing at Mary "Maddie." She mumbled, not caring to look up.
( I'm changing her name to Mary lol )Mary growled when they saw the keys in her hands. So close .
" servant 302 is now yours . Mary Galiler "
Carter looked at her.
" I'm carter. Look I'm not a bad master I promise." He whispered and stood to pay the officer
She sighed. Any master was BAD. Maddie just wanted freedom. He payed quickly and got her out, but he wasn't rough with her.
Mary stayed as far from him as possible. They had retired her hands and even tighter. She feet a rope burn startCarter payed and they started to tie her hands but he stopped them
" don't" he snapped at them and Ed her wrist gently
He didn't bother with her hands. Kade just wanted to get her to the car. She sighed and still never looked up. Maddie didn't really care, it just wasn't worth.
The officers threw her into the back of his car ." ow" she mumbled as she hit her head
Carter opened the doo and helped her into the car
Kade glared at the officers. He rushed over to her."Ya' alright?" Maddie finally looked up, her pretty face gleaming and her hair shiny.
Carter gave her a small smile.Mary nodded stil glaring. Half expecting him to hit her.
She nodded, looking away again. Maddie's whole body was shaking, from nervousness and cold. Her skimpy outfit they put her in wasn't helping. "What's your name?" He asked, sitting down in the trunk.
Carter looked at her"Wait one moment." He said and got out and gave her a blanket
"Thanks." She answered, immediately wrapping it around her. (Mary?)
Mary kept as far away from him as possible"Mary . Mary kathrine"she said softly
Carter smiled small
"your welcome"he said and started driving
"I won't hurt you... Being mean Is my cover up." He whispered before getting in the drivers side and starting up the engine. She huddled in a corner, clutching the blanket. Maddie was scared as heck.
Mary didn't move . What if he was lieing. She watched him warilyCarter parked infront of his. House
"You can keep the blanket . Come on" he said gently
He slowly go on the road."I'm Kade."She nodded gently, drawing a deep breath before stepping out.
Carter held the door of his huge beautiful mansion open for her."Come on in"he said
Mary just watched him.
"Hi"she said in an emotionless,flat tone
"Hey cool your top would ya?" Kade asked sternlyHer eyes gaped open... What???!???
Carter smiled kindly at her"come on!"he said softly .
Mary just turned her head. No master was kind. It was always a trick a master had tricked her like that once but she wouldn't fall for it
He sighed, mad. They were getting close. Madder lugged herself in sighed, her mouth open wide.
Carter smiled"Do you like it?"
Mary fingered the locket around her neck
"Duh!" She giggled He turned into the driveway, unlocking the doors.
Carter smiled."Good! Come on I'll show you to your room."
Mary gaped at him house. It was huge. She really was pretty with her hair pulled back and her big. Blue eyes sparkled
She smiled and then stopped herself."No..." Her head mumbled. Kade smiled and helped her out,"You like it?"
Carter tilted his head"Look I promise I'm not a bad master. I didn't even want a slave. I just need some help around the house. Please don't be scared of me. "He said gently
Mary nodded still gaping. She had seen big houses at her other masters but this was the biggest.
Kade nodded, beginning to all inside, expecting she'd follow. Maddie gazed down again, not replying.
Marry watched him. Slowly she followed him towards the house.Carter sighed looking kind of sad.
