Have You Read Low Time in Arcadia by Willett Thomas?

Just wondering if anyone else in the community has had a chance to read Low Time In Arcadia. I really love the way this writer weaves a tale. I discovered this ebook back in Oct. of 2012, and I enjoyed it immensely. It is so different from what many of the African American writers are offering on Amazon. I'm not knocking other writers, I just like to read a variety of genres, and this coming of age tale was the perfect break from some of the street lit and chick lit I've been reading. I highly recommend this book, and I want more like this. It deserves attention. While doing a Google search, I discovered that Ms. Thomas is an award winning fiction writer. Yet she is offering her ebook for just .99 cents.Low Time in Arcadia

Clarice, I also loved the book by Willett Thomas. I'm amazed there haven't been more comments and reviews. I've recommended the book to one of my daughters. This book could be for many audiences. It definitely has class.

It's so nice of you to have posted this comment. Since I first added my novel to Goodreads, I've been busy trying to get my website up for my nonprofit Write of Passage, Inc. I've had a lot of great experiences as a writer, but I also know what a struggle it can be, so I started WOPI to share the resources and tools I stumble upon with other artists/writers. But now I'm back at it, getting the word out on Raised by Hand as best I can. So if I haven't said so before, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I recently read this book when Willet Thomas posted she was looking for reviews. I loved it also.
I agree that more people should become aware of it. As I told her, this has now been added to my children's reading list for school. I have been spreading the word locally as well.
This book deserves to be among classics.
