Why do you think Athena (the virgin goddess) suddenly wanted to have children?

Since Athena is a maiden goddess, what suddenly changed her mind?(I'm talking about the PJ universe, of course) Why do you think she suddenly wanted to become a mother?

Apparently, she has an interesting way of having children. They're born from her thoughts...so I'm not sure why she wants them. It could be any number of reasons, but hey, they're gods. They do whatever.
she doesnt have children but yes they are born from her thoughts and she kind of adopted a child from hephaesus and gaia story goes... that hepshaestus wanted to rape his own sister but couldnt catch her but his seed went on her thigh and she was disgusted and swiped it and it fell onto earth and landed on gaia and the she had a kid named erechteus and she kind of adopted him
Becouse the child was a gift to the man who had gained her favor or something like that.

Yeah, I just had to comment that. This whole topic screamed sexual angst, for obvious reasons. Greek mythology is always somehow associated with these kinds of things.
It really does. The ancient Greek and Roman time periods were very sexual and care free - they almost encouraged it, especially with a Goddess who's affinity surrounds sex XD

Yes, exactly! Sometimes it gets a bit creepy. Haha, It also almost seems that a lot of the Greek mythology, er, people are somehow related. Like, they all are related or something. Well, back then I guess it made sense.
Yeah tell me about it. They must have been big on incest, I guess, especially since Zues and Hera are siblings...It wasn't really odd for girls that young to be pregnant... just like it was somewhat normal that they were married to men so much older than them
