				 To authors,
To authors,This should be a given if you have read our author rules and posting etiquette, but seeing as we have had a few authors most audaciously posting new topics in the General Guidelines folder in an attempt to fish for writing research, it appears there needs to be an add on to the Posting in Folders Rules.
No authors or writers, or associates of authors or writers, may post topics or post leading comments in this group requesting information that relates to their writing or publishing.
If you do, it will be deleted by the moderators.
This topic has been frozen by the moderator. No new comments can be posted.

Please post into the folders that most closely identifies the period the novel is set in, but don't stress too much if you have difficulty with precise dates or periods. Someone will undoubtedly help you there if you need it.
Please note also that only Group Moderators can add new threads to Folders. Some Folders are more lenient, ie the General Discussion Folder, but please ask a moderator first before posting a topic in the General Discussion Folder.
If you think we need a new event or era covered in the Era Folders please contact me (Terri) and we can discuss whether it is needed. Threads are usually only set up for a historic event or era if we think there will be enough books to fill it and it isn't too similar to threads already in use.
Please be aware that we try not to include fantasy (of any form) or strong romance themed books in our threads.
There are only four threads which are open to discussions on these genres. The Meet & Greet and What Are You Reading Now threads are for any genre discussion, while the Historical Fantasy and Mythology threads are for books that fit our genre theme (history) but may also be fantasy.
No fantasy in the era threads are accepted at all. They must stay 'straight' hist fic so people who don't read fantasy don't get recommended the wrong kind of book.
Try also to keep fantasy books out of group reads too. For the same reasons stated for the era folders.
