History: Jamie was born a healthy child. His Parents were both lawyers and he lived a pretty wealthy life style. When he was 5 he was riding his bike and crashed, hitting his head. He got a concussion which caused him to go deaf. His parents signed him up for speech therapy, and he eventually got to the point were he could read lips most of the time and speak clearly. Growing up Jamie had more and more health problems, such as asthma, diabetes.

Eventually as he got older he got stronger physically and mentally. He made it his duty to prove that just because he is deaf he isn't weak and can do anything he wants to. After the disappearance he took up (along with a lot of other people in May) the job of delivering supplies to the other towns.

Personality: Fitz sees the Disappearance as an opportunity to party. He does miss his parents, of course, but he thinks that they were too strict a lot of the time. Fitz likes to throw parties at his house almost every day. Sometimes he throws them to celebrate something, like a birthday or a holiday. But most of the time it's just a random party. Fitz knows that his older sister Amara disapproves of the parties, but he thinks that she needs to loosen up. Fitz is very careless, and never thinks about what h sees. He doesn't really care about hurting people's feelings, because to him there's always more people in the world that you can be friends with.

History: Fitz was playing video games on the morning of the Disappearance. He wasn't concerned at all about the fact that he couldn't find his parents anywhere. He figured that they were working, or going for a very long morning run. Fitz's sister, Amara, was very worried though. She kept searching for their parents while Fitz lazed about the house. Fitz fell asleep after having a dinner of pizza while Amara stayed out, helping everyone else figure out who exactly had disappeared. When Amara told Fitz that their parents were gone, he refused to believe her. He thought that he was getting pranked. Then Amara dragged him out of their house and showed him all the other kids and teens without parents or siblings below the age of 2, and the desert where the rest of the world had once been. Fitz was extremely shocked when he realized that his parents were really gone. To calm down, he sat on his bed in his room and listened to trashy music.

Personality: Milo is a pretty out going person. He enjoys being with people, and is very extroverted. He always tries to see the good in people, and isn't much of a fighter, but that doesn't mean he can't defend himself. If he needs to, he will fight back, but will try and avoid confrontation at all costs. Because of his extroverted personality, he can be a bit naive at times. He enjoys taking risks, and believes that life doesn't wait, and you should take the opportunities that present themselves.

History: Milo was born in a small town in Oregon, always moving from place to place. He had a little sister, but she died from a car crash, which also left his mother in a coma when he was 13. His father was a good man, and loved his family very much, but he couldn't take it when his wife and child died. Instead of being there for Milo, he blamed him for their deaths. It didn't take long for his father to become a useless alcoholic, so Milo raised himself. For a while, he believed what his father said about him being the cause of his family's death, and he became very depressed. At age 15, he tried to kill himself, but was stopped by a friend who found him bleeding to death in the bathtub. Since then, he turned his life around, looking on the bright side of things, and surrounding himself with people. He fixed himself. He doesn't like to talk about his past, and will only talk about to a select few who bring it up first. After the Disappearance, he wasn't exactly sad that his dad had gone missing. He could never hate his dad, but he was glad he wasn't around to verbally abuse Milo anymore.

After looking for his mom for over an hour, Mason was found by a neighbor who regularly babysat him. He was brought to her home to be taken care of, and has been with her since.

Xavier tends to be very cynical and negative. Almost everything that comes out of his mouth is sarcastic. He also likes to be in charge and often doesn't trust others to do anything. He likes to get things done himself. He hides behind his negativity in order to keep from breaking down due to his loss following the disappearance. He doesn't want to care about anything again, but he is starting to care about the people in October. He wants to keep them safe. Underneath the negativity he is extremely caring and selfless.

History (at least 6 lines): Before the disappearance Xavier owned a blackbox theatre with his wife Ray and daughter Addy in Berkley, California. He met Ray in high school. Ray had the lead in the school musical Carousel and Xavier was working on the set design as a part of school detention for fighting, but he was beginning to really care about it. Xavier had been abused by his alcoholic father as a kid and had just recently moved in with his Uncle's family (mother's brother). Ray was able to help Xavier move past his anger and enjoy life. When Ray was 20 and Xavier was 19 they had a daughter Addy, named after Xavier's mother. Xavier had proposed to Ray two months before the disappearance. After the disappearance both Ray(21) and Addy(1) were missing. He once again turned into a man who hid his feelings behind anger and negativity. He became determined to find out what had happened, gaining him leadership in October.

[ ʟ ] ooking at Kellan, one doesn't think he's quite as serious as he is. Nose pierced, various tattoos, and what looks to be like a perpetual smirk, people think he'd be fun to be around. They think that he doesn't take his role as a leader seriously. They, however, would be dead wrong. Kellan is nothing but serious. That smirk hides a dozen worries, regrets, and plans that people just can't see unless they talk to him for something other than a cheap one night bout of entertainment. Which, while is nice to be propositioned every once in a while, is annoying and he would prefer to go without those. His focus has always been on the task of being a leader, and he really doesn't like distractions. Which is why he tends to avoid them, doing much of his thinking away from the presence of others. He has to be alone to get things done, it seems.

Kellan was always incredibly street smart. Resourceful. He knew how to bargain, what to avoid, what to do, and maybe even a few tactics of intimidation. Not that he'd really need them with that pretty face and impressive height. He's not one to shy away from any situation that would require him to be a little more streetwise, but he certainly doesn't go out looking for them. That was never his style, even if some people might have thought that it was once. Now, he uses what he knows to better January, to make it slightly easier to bear with. Because he knows that life is never going to be the same. That people are still reeling from the people they've lost and the new found freedom they've been given.

His biggest concern is to look out for those around him. He wants to figure out why everything even happened, and what they can do to fix it. He's a bit of an amateur detective, seeing as his mother was one before she disappeared. He'd wanted to follow in her footsteps, and he guesses he is now. He might as well take up the mantle and get his butt in gear. Kellan is usually always looking out for clues. He's looking for changes, subtle and drastic. He's looking for a way to explain everything and bring it back to everyone. They, in his opinion, can't just go on as they are. People get older, and there was clearly a cap age for the Disappearance. What if it happens again?

[ ʜ ] is story isn't very different from anyone else's. Kellan was raised in a primarily female household. In fact, it was just him and the gals. Older sisters, younger, and his mother; then, him. He couldn't say that he was overly pleased or pissed off, but he does wish that one thing was different: that his father had been around. As far as Kellan knew, he was never in the picture. Hell, he didn't even know the man's name. His mother hadn't thought that it'd be wise to let him know, lest he try and find him. Part of him suspected that the man who gave part of his DNA to make him was still close, and yet he was still so far away. There wasn't really anything to explain the feeling.

Life was normal. He had fun, he messed around. He didn't have the highest honors in school, he wasn't some star athlete, but he did well enough to make his family proud. A home decorated with achievements and smiling faces, and he was happy. College was on the horizon, after two years away from the possibility so that he could help out around the house. The youngest two were in some expensive private school, and he'd be damned if they couldn't enjoy it like the rest of their classmates. So, he'd decided that college could wait. And when it finally came time for it to happen, the Disappearance struck.

He lost most of his family. There were really only three sisters younger than him, but that didn't change anything. That didn't change the ache in his chest when he couldn't find his mother and older sisters. That didn't change the fact that they were gone. What it did change was him. It changed the way he'd looked at his life, and gave him new purpose. Because now he most definitely had something to live for. And that was when the leader in him was born.

Keith was 5 years older than Cyrus, and took care of him a lot. Their mom died when Cyrus was only 3, and their father became depressed because of the death. Their aunt Glenda let them all move into her apartment, because she felt sorry for the 2 boys. Glenda was almost always working, though, and never had time to try to pull Cyrus's father out of depression, or hang out with Cyrus and Keith. When the Disappearance occurred, Keith was helping Cyrus study for the SATs. When Keith suddenly disappeared, Cyrus didn't understand what was happening. He tried to find their father, but he was gone. Glenda didn't answer her phone. Cyrus left the building, and found out what was happening. A few days later, he came back to the apartment building to see if anybody was still there. He found a few people who wanted to be left lone, and then he found Emma Paige, who was all alone in her apartment. Cyrus asked her if she would like to be roommates, and Emma said yes.

Personality:
Cameron is an adventure-loving kind of guy. He is always ready to go out and explore, see new things, and meet new people. He is a total rebel, he never wants to go through the normal, and he whenever someone tells him he can't do something, he will go out and do it anyway. He can be extremely rude sometimes, but only when he's angry or sad about something. Cameron also is really honest, and he usually says what's on his mind. He is sweet, lovable, and funny, and usually in a good mood.

History:
Cameron was born to a teenage mother, who was only 15 at the time, but sadly died a couple minutes after his birth. He had never really gotten to know his father much, since he had been arrested months before he was born, and only got to see him once, when his uncle took him to see him when he was 4 . He had stayed with his aunt and her husband for a couple of years, then was moved to a foster home after his aunt and uncle had been in a incident and died. It seemed like all his life Cameron had been moving from place to place, from family to family, from home to home. He had never held a real family for more than a month. They all gave up on him because of his disrespect for adults. It wasn't until he was 15, when he had found someone to take care of him, a middle-aged woman and her husband. They took care of him and raised him until they disappeared, and Cameron had to raise himself.
