I love Something Like Normal by Trish Doller, so I'm especially excited for this one.

I picked up my copy of this from the library today, and I can only have it 3 weeks, since I believe there are holds on it, which means I can't renew it. So I'm going to have to start this a little early, but not yet. I'll probably start it a couple days before it's due, which is July 1st.

I read the first 5 chapters and it's interesting so far.

I've read through chapter 15 now, and wow, this one is getting really intense. I think I'm going to finish this tonight.

Matt (view spoiler)[I can't believe he could do the horrible things like kill those people without feeling any empathy or care at all. It's so awful. He thought of Lindsey like she was someone disposable who didn't matter at all. (hide spoiler)]

Lindsey (view spoiler)[I feel so bad that she died since she seemed like a really nice person and she didn't deserve that. I mean, honestly, no one deserves that. (hide spoiler)]

I just finished this and it had quite the intense ending and was really good.

Cadie(view spoiler)[ I normally wouldn't be a fan of the way Cadie is completely abandoning her responsibilities - but she really has had too many put on her.
her dad should have NOT expected her to take on so much. She really hasn't gotten the proper teen years she needed.
but I'm not sure I'd hope she'd turn into the girl show loses her virginity in a graveyard with a guy she's only met for a few days... Yikes! (hide spoiler)]

Finally got to start this and am 10 chapters in.

OMG I'm not so sure about kids these days! LOL Maybe it's my generation, but I don't know how Cadie (view spoiler)[cold skinny dip with a guy she met minutes before. That's rather freaky if you ask me! (hide spoiler)]

It seems that Matt might be (view spoiler)[bad news! Possibly Noah too. I didn't like the way that Noah wanted to F up Jason if he didn't give Cadie her dress. I just thought that was excessive and too aggressive. Plus I thought his initial reaction to Cadie's not wanting to have sex was a bit much. It was bad enough that she considered it a deal breaker. He might have just said what he did to cover up how angry he really was. (hide spoiler)]

So who would have (view spoiler)[tied up Jason? Good question! My first thought was Noah because of how aggressive and upset he was earlier with Jason. I don't know if Matt saw that but I don't recall that he did. Somehow I don't think Justin would have done it to him. (hide spoiler)]

I don't think that Cadie has had (view spoiler)[good teen years either. She was very smart mouthed with her dad, told him NO, sneaked out the window, and seemed to have NO respect for him. That doesn't come without being unfairly treated, I don't think. She seems to be "ripe" to be a runaway. (hide spoiler)]

I'm not sure what to think abut Lindsey either, but like Trisha, I think that possibly (view spoiler)[ harm has come to her. Matt might have killed her. I do think he's jealous of Noah. And IF he's angry with him, and IF he killed Lindsey, would he do harm to Cadie for inviting him to the party and then going for Noah? Not a good series of events at all! (hide spoiler)]

There was a minute there that I thought (view spoiler)[Noah might be the killer or even that they were a pair. I wonder if Noah even knows that Matt is the way he is because when Matt and Cadie left the bathroom (wherever that was) he just watched them pull off. He didn't seem panicked. I will be disappointed if he knew but allowed Cadie to be near him like that. (hide spoiler)]

When Cadie (view spoiler)[found what she thought to be Noah's phone, I thought he was the killer. But there were too many pages left. LOL Plus as SOON as Matt found her by the bathroom and was pretty insistent that she leave with him and threw Noah under the bus, I knew Matt was the killer. (hide spoiler)]

Cadie's dad (view spoiler)[must be so beside himself! His little girl is in a bad predicament. I have a feeling that Noah will come to her rescue because he probably has an idea where Matt took her. (hide spoiler)]

Matt (view spoiler)[was obviously a psychopath for along time. He didn't want to do all he did because of Noah's car since that had nothing to do with killing an innocent child. And it seems that his mother KNEW? I think I'd still have to tell the police even if I feared for my life. (hide spoiler)]

Noah (view spoiler)[did turn out to be a good guy. I knew he'd somehow go and try to rescue her. If he hadn't gone, she probably would have died for sure. But Matt wanted to violate her AND skin Noah's dog alive. He is SICK! SICK! SICK! (hide spoiler)]
